fixed a lunch meet-up for both of our parents, so nervous! what's supposed to be discussed before the solemnisation?

Like guy side what they want the girl side to give them (e.g. Pants?) or is both side going to do comb hair tradition? How many tables they going to give to the girl side etc..

actually intended to discuss these only nearer to AD date.. heh. but if they really, really have nothing about solemnisation (cos alr booked and arranged) to talk about during the meetup, then i guess can start asking them about the "customary traditions" they want... GDL stuff actually advised by the geomancer too le.. now most importantly, do i need to follow geomancer timing and wake up at 3am to prepare on the AD? o_O

our banquet cost is gonna be shared by me and htb, so i guess giving of tables doesn't really apply.. we have compiled guest list alr anyway, haha. included all the friends/families both sides' parents want to invite..

My AD's one day before yours :) Oh better to get the printing done fast! Cos they take about 12 working days for mine. I haven't gotten the GDL and an chuang stuffs too.. I know Chinatown has a few shops. Will check them out soon! For jiemeis dresses can go to city plaza to check out wholesale ones..

I don't have Gdl though....

Hehehehe....

I will try to start writing and sending my invites from this weekend on ba.

By the way can anyone explain how does an Chuan work.

Coz my new house not ready and I will be using my bed for the an Chuan temporary.

Can that be done? If so, what's the format?

Was thinking of doing the night before AD

An Chuang u need to choose an auspicious time and date for both urself and htb.. adjust abit of the bed and change a new set of the bedsheets will do since u are not doing GDL... unless u are doing a full set GDL then an Chuang have to get the an Chuang stuffs to place on the bed etcs

Mine is on 23 November, Monday. Having it at carpenter and cook cafe. Yours? :)

Statutory declaration is done at rom a few days before your rom, where u need to swear some stuff and sign the declaration doc. That u haven't been married etc. u will be doing that before u collect your cert.

Hi All BTBs, just ended my wedding. To share my experience with Zwedding was a mixed feeling. Definitely Grace Liew my consultant made my experience with Zwedding nothing at all pleasant and a total nightmare if I were to say. I will never forget how blatantly rude she was and her aftermath attitude. And to think that she was one of the senior consultant. However, not to fault the rest, I have to say the rest of the team who helped me along the way was brilliant and that made my remaindering journey with them a breeze! Hope no brides to have to go through the same horrible experience as me.
