Traditionally it's cannot.. Must be at least more than 3 months.. For both the wedding couple to attend or to be invited..

Hi All!

I'm a Nov 2015 bride as well! My AD is 22 Nov which seems to be another popular date besides 14 Nov. Date chosen based on personal preference and didn't consult any master for auspicious date. Hope is a good day!
I've booked my banquet and bridal package last year end, namely Amara Sanctuary Sentosa for my wedding lunch cum solemnization and Z Wedding.
I'm now searching for AD photographer and considering if I want to hire a videographer too. Have emailed a few over the weekend to request for pricing.
Anyone has any recommendation?

Hello! Nice to know we have the same AD!
Can't comment much on Zwedding's service for now since I haven't go for my shoots yet. However, I love their gowns which is the main reason why I chose them. I've also flipped through their portfolio by Chris Ling photography which suits the style and feel I want so decided to sign up without much hard sell from them nor did I shop around for other bridal. Their package price is on the higher end and they give fewer perks compared to others. Like I said, good gown selection is my priority so I don't mind the premium so long as there is no other hidden cost.
Suggest you go down to both Zwedding and My Dream Wedding to see what both got to offer you. Bear in mind what you want so that you can make a better decision on which package suits you better. I'm sure both will try very hard to sell you their service. =)

Can't comment much on Zwedding's service for now since I haven't go for my shoots yet. However, I love their gowns which is the main reason why I chose them. I've also flipped through their portfolio by Chris Ling photography which suits the style and feel I want so decided to sign up without much hard sell from them nor did I shop around for other bridal. Their package price is on the higher end and they give fewer perks compared to others. Hi ChubbyDi, I have enquired on Z wedding package and it's true that they offer fewer perks and much more expensive than other bridals.. Thanks for sharing that they do not hard sell much as I do not really like those shops who keep hardselling non stop.. One reason why I am considering Z wedding is because of the good reviews on Chris Ling photography.. haha!

yeah, i meant crowne plaza. I gave them up eventually and sign up with other hotel instead just past Sunday. You know, i've been to so so many hotels and spoke to so many coordinators, crowne plaza's lady was one of the arrogant one i've ever met. It's an irony how forums were praising her...but she dont seems to really care about us though. I thought i was weird hence i asked my man - he also thought she could be a bit friendlier. Anyway, CP was one of my top choice but becos she was slow and service wasnt that good, we gave it up. It was quite a shame...cos we really like CP.

Yup I really like their bridal suite.. One of the nicest I have viewed so far.. I also agree with you.. They give me the feeling that it's I want their business instead of the other way round..

I think brides will already be stressed and vexed enough so having a good coordinator is very very important. He or she is supposed to help you feel at ease, help you arrange your wedding nicely and make you feel comfortable. Most of the brides only stay 1 night in the bridal suite so seriously, there got to be other equally nice or cosy bridal suite for you. That's my thought, which is why i gave up CP and went for another hotel instead. Super good service..even though their bridal suite is smaller compared to CP, but it's cosy enough for us.

I have encountered similar situation with another hotel that I went.. The coordinator is not arrogant but she does not appear enthusiastic or proactive when introducing their package somehow.. It's more of we ask her questions during the meet up rather than finding out our preferences.. She just went thru the wedding banquet package with us like reading from the slides.. When we request for some flexibility on some of the arrangements, she will say that it is not possible.. Seems like can't negotiate at all.. End up we chose another hotel and they are really proactive and give us flexibility in some of our requests..
