Yup! I'm waiting for ido wedding to get back to me. They check on sunday and say shld be available for my studio, but will confirm tomorrow... which studio u chose?

Some of them waited till food tasting then meet.

For mine, they have met, though under not-so-good circumstances. Once was during my HTB's mum's funeral, once was during my grandma's funeral. Oh well.

btw... pls go book your wedding date with hotels soon if you havent,
cos when i check few hotels , most of them are fully booked for my date 16/11/2014

Nice~ I attended a wedding at Amara Sanctuary last year. The food was good! Especially the cod fish, yum

Yup settled it last month, early Nov '14 at Four Seasons Hotel.
Amara Sanctuary sounds good! Rom at glass house there??

Hi there,

My dresses are from Olive Suite.
Experience overall wasn't smooth, there were a lot of top ups to be honest. However I understand i'm not alone, most bridal studios do that.
But I have to say all the staffs were really helpful, their dresses really nice as well.
Just know what you are getting for the money you are paying and you will be safe.

Hello! Another Nov BTB! :)

Mine is 22 Nov wedding lunch at Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel. So far, I have settled my bridal studio, AD photographer/Videographer & AD MUA.

I am still in the dilemma if I should have my ROM on the same day or earlier as mine is wedding lunch..

Anyway, .. 1 year to our big day! :)

wow, their prices are very high.. but Olive suite is unique, and come with MTM teagowns or gowns .
so you get to keep a memory of wedding too =D

i signed mine with jawn happy.ever.after , they are super friendly and helpful.
so i'm sure he could assist you with MTM gowns and bridesmaid dresses.
jus rem to book a appt before going down..

Mine is at goodwood park. It was hard to find a hotel at this date, but lucky the previous couple gave up their date so I managed to secure this hotel.

Thought 16 nov is auspicious date though...

im a nov btb too! ^^indeed it is so difficult to get the venue and esp for my date on 29-nov. in the end, we settle with wedding lunch in sentosa cuz a big big majority of the mainland hotels are already committed by other couples, both lunch and dinner...other nov btbs jiayous! :D

DIY projects to b completed in June.

Tea ceremony preps with my maternal side By july/aug?

Still need to plan a meeting with the people involved!

any more things i need to note?

I looked at mags n the bs' gowns always caught my eye. Went to talk to them at bridal fair and the price was ok, so we signed. But of cos before tt we also did mkt research by gg to bridal fairs and talking to other bs to see what they're charging and what they include. Also went to check out reviews of bs online to make sure not too many bad reviews.

Hmm settled my bridal, wedding band and actual day photographer and videographer...
Now need to fix the gown choosing dates with the bridal and pre-wedding photo shooting :)

thanks for sharing, i have read th reviews of those BS i'm keen with. Good n bad reviews all included., hmm hasnt went to weddg shw to speak to any bs, find them rather pushy scare i cant resist their persuasion i just sign. haiz mayb i shld think too much, pick d one i like n sign if price is ok. aftall im left with 9months

Don't give in to those "threats" that says "if you sign up now, then u can have this this this, later I cant guarantee." So far the ones I asked, 2 days later, their offer still stands. ;)
Be sure to look around for more offers. Think about it and discuss. Then, choose the best 2 or 3 and try to haggle for more perks.

IMO, it is the best to go with one that you can communicate best. :D

Actually I think it's really quite impt to talk to multiple bs. Agree w ur HTB tt won't sign anything on the spot, then talk to them. Usually abt 45 mins per bs. Takes time, but u really get to learn what kinds of perks u can get and what's the limit u can try to push for.

What I did is to go with my girl fren to the bridal shop take a look at their grown, package and service...

Select the bridal u like and go with your HTB to check if they provide better offer at wedding fai

Preferable to make an appointment so that you will be assured of sufficient time to discuss and try on some gowns. You should ask to try on gowns to judge the quality and style of the studio! For each studio try to check in the forums for info on who the "good" coordinators are and try to ask for that person to assist you during your meeting :) good luck!

ur BS doesn't have any? check with them first. otherwise, u can rent from other BS. :)
