Hello! Any recommendations for MTM gowns that also do MTM bridesmaid dresses? I have sourced a few from the internet; Tan Yoong, TTMD, Jessicacindy, Olive Suite. Anyone who has had experiences making a dress with any of them care to share the experience or any other reccomendations?

Hello! Nov 2014 BTB too! I've already settled the bridal studio and lunch venue. =) Now planning when to do the photoshoot.

Banquet at Grand Park City Hall, bridal studio is Digio. I signed early this year. =)
Probably u can start by counting how many tables u need? Then can short list locations from there. For BS I basically just looked at magazines, then signed at a wedding fair.

Banquet held at conrad.. thats all ive done haven lol.. haven sourced for the others.. its really scary but theres many btbs in other threads who've gotten everything organised. . Quite stressed. Lol.

Stil shopping for bridal shops.. thinking of doing a mtm evening / cheong sum gown too.. any of you ladies thinking of the same?

Mine is on 28th November. Quite hard to secure a sat date . Yep. Stress. Time flies. At least u have gotten one thing down ur load. More to come! Fr myself too. Wedding banquet settled. Now sourcing for bridal shop etc. Really like not much time left . Jiayou all! Lets share our tips with one another. :D

yea thats true, when i started sourcing in June i thought i was being kiasu, but then i realised from feedback of many hotel coordinators' that there were not much sat left for next yr 2nd half, was quite shocked!

wheyou be having your banquet Jing88?

which bridal have you shortlisted? :)

Yep. so gotta act fast. i be having my banquet at holiday inn atrium. I just started asking ard different bridal shops like bliss bridal creations,my bridal room, louvre bridal etc.. shortlisted this few. I had my pre wedding shoot done in tw with a tw boutique so it's like I need to source on the MUA, gown, photography and videography for actual day only. How about you, which bridal shops u KIV?

Hi Jing, not too sure as yet, maybe MBR as well. as i have friends who has used them.. the rest.. dun really have any with good reviews.. and im abit kiasee too..heh rather go with somewhere tried and tested..hee..
looking ard for AD video and photographer too..

anyone firmed up plans and like to share?

I have a contact for MTM cheongsam at Chinatown, many 2013 BTBs MTM their cheongsam or their mum's there. Btw, I'm a 2014 BTB. My friend had just set up a 2014 BTB FB page, some info r there.

Hello! My date is 22nd November 2014, Saturday.
Going to have a church wedding followed by lunch is at Swissotel-Fairmont.
My bridal studio is Sophia Weddings Collection. :)
It's wonderful to see this thread and can't wait to journey with you girls towards our Big Days!!! =^,^=

Yup, going to try it out cos my fiance says that his friend has tried before. We are going to do the tea ceremony after the banquet so hopefully it'll fit better, and definitely going to "chuang men" cos it's probably the only time I get to make him eat durians! Muahahahaha! :p

So tentative flow will be:
7.30am: Gatecrash
8.45am: Make way to church
9.30am: Church wedding
11.00am: Make way to Fairmont
12.00pm: Lunch!
2.30pm: End of lunch, setup for tea ceremony
3.00pm: Tea Ceremony
4.00pm: Take out million and one hairpins from swanky hairdo.

Have you girls shortlisted places for your wedding photoshoot yet?

@Cheerful88: thanks for sharing with me. base on the budget and also the perks i have, i only manage to short list Park Royal on Beach Road(Seen d ballroom quite like it.), M Hotel(Jaccuzi bridal suite attract me). Next is Grand Park City but decided to drop as the perks are not as attractive. Now im stuck not sure which to choose. tot find a hotel with nice ballroom, food must be not bad, service not too lousy and within my budget. guess i'm asking for too much.

@purlip33 No problem! Just so happened that my htb just attended a wedding there so I could update you from his feedback. Agreed with nettinette that as long as you are comfortable n happy w e venue, that's the one for you! :)

I will be taking mine in Korea! IDO Wedding is not bad, but I cheapo went for a slightly cheaper alternative. Wanna arrange to go in May.

why not April? coincide with sakura timing, v v beautiful :)

It will still be freezing cold in April in Korea! Hmm... You have at least half a year to slim down now, jiayou jiayou!! August scared too rush.

Btw, anyone contemplating getting ur bridesmaids instead of fiancé to accompany u to the bridal studio duting gown fitting? I feel tt it'll kill his joy if he knows wad i'll be wearing beforehand... :p

well.. try for 1st week May then, hopefully stil have.. go Nami island.. its beautiful!! v convenient from Seoul..

well.. i will be getting both including my mum as well.. better to have more opinions.. heh :p

I have asked for early may. Seems like the studio is available. Waiting for Ido to confirm for me. Anyway, I'm torn between studio 17 and studio 9... duno which one should I choose...

Congratulations!!
I am also aiming to go in May! Hopefully our schedule allows us to. Haha. But have to book early because it is peak season and hotel gets full fast I presume.
