we r doing away with d banquet dinner coz we feel more comfortable to go for honeymoon than having banquet. we will have a cosy lunch/dinner for both families n close frdz after the solemnisation.

do u think is it cost effective to sign a bridal package or ala-carte? my fh wants to do ala-carte but i feel it is more convenient to sign up a package since we will be taking PS?

When's your ROM? I'm also looking at restaurants with private rooms hehe Personally I think it is more convenient to take a package from a BS since you need PS, more economical.

The pricing range from 400 plus to 600 plus..

I wanted to book but the person ask me to call back after chinese new year as the prices might change..

I think tunglok signatures not bad too. they have 2 balconies to hold ROM.

Congratulations to all!
I have a ROM package with Raffles Hotel for sale. The package includes a dinner buffet for 30 and basic decor for the solemnization ceremony. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I would have to reschedule my ROM and Raffles Hotel has been very nice to accomodate to my changes to end of May 2012. This package cost about $3500, have paid $1000 but willing to let go at $700. Please pm me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Hi all

Firstly, congrats to all lovely brides-to-be. ïŠ

I am a little lost here, and hope to get some insights. Our intended date of solemnization is end March 2012, and at ROM itself. Would just be something simple, with close relatives and friends for the ceremony.

Was at ROM itself last Thursday with husband-to-be, and we spoke with the staff there. We were told that we also need to book for time slot.

We are inclined towards an afternoon slot, so that we can book for an afternoon tea reception. I think our group size would be around 30. Hope to hear from you what venues/restaurants would be accommodate such timing and group size.

Any other points I should take note, I will also greatly welcome.

Been sometime since i log in. Have been busy with new house. Our ROM date & venue is confirmed. Wonder if we shld sign up a ROM & Photography package with a BS or go ala-carte? we don't intend to hold a banquet thou.

@ourwedding8082 - it depends. if ala-carte, you gotta search for gown, photographer, wedding bouquet and MUA. but if package,normally all these are in it.

mine is ala-carte, and it is super tiring.
