Me me!!! AD on 7th Jan...How is the preparation so far?

Hi Cluelessbtb,

Mine AD on 7th too n 8th Jan for dinner.
Still have alot of stuff to settle... MUA, heels, mothers' dress, suit for fathers, design of wedding inserts, church booklets n nv ending lists...

How about u? What stage are you at? Taken ur pre wedding pics?

Yup took my pre wed photos already. Done with mother's dress and father suit...but my in laws are not settled yet. They are not at the least anxious at all...they think still have a lot of time.
Still actively searching for heels and bridesmaid dresses. Hotel has not contact me to choose invitation cards.
Have not started with schedule yet. Guest list still in a mess

Hi all,

I am also Jan BTB. I was Dec 2011 BTB but now my wedding was postponed to Jan 2012 because the restaurant corked up my reservation!

I'm a little late, have not taken my pre wed photos.

Not in an urgent mood ... haha...

Thecitygirl: hi! Initially I wanted 1st but it's a Sunday so I chose 7th. Both 1st N 7th Jan holds special meaning to me and hubby

Hi cluelessbtb, Yap 1st is also a special day for us as he proposed on 1st Jan this year.So conicidence it was also one of the dates given to us when we went to calculate therefore we decided on this date

Hi Cylvia, I have not take my pre-wedding shoots as well... Tat's y keep feeling like lots of things not done yet.

The restaurant is Grand Shanghai.

We were working overseas so we communicated by email. The manager said he will reserve the Dec date for us and we'll place the deposit as soon as we return to Singapore. But when we returned, the date was gone.

Firstly, we didn't actually made a confirmation (with deposit), secondly we still want to hold our wedding there, so didn't really make a big fuss.

It didn't affect much except that we have to look for another good date. What an episode.

Anyone of you finding your own makeup artist for your AD? Or taking the mua from the bridal shop?

How long does it take do a MTM gown? I tot it will take quite long to MTM. Ur bridal shop have not contact u? Better push them for an appointment.

hi jamlyn, cos my htb is not in town but he will be back next friday so sat we going to the BS. the BS say got enough time to make the gown n go PS on october. =D

I'm taking the MUA included in the bridal package.

I am more concerned about my hairdo than my make up. I have seen the brides with unflattering hair dos... scary...

Hi all Jan BTB.... I'm one of you too... AD on 15th Jan... will held my AD at Sg Expo...
Took my PS last yr in Nov (went to Korea)... haha! abit kaisu... & now the album "rotting" at my hubby hse... haha...!!
So far, only settle the AD place, PG, VG, PS... still got what need to be done ah? i oso abit blur on it... Resturant have not call me for food tasting & choosing of invitation cards...

Hi all pretties, mine AD on 14 Jan. Still slacking haha. Only settled on PS day, selection of gowns, banquet. Heels photographer videographer all have yet to source. So afraid nt able to find good ones. Stil gt lots to settle.

My AD 13 Jan. Having my PS on 2nd Sep. I guess hotel still have some time before confirming some things with them. We have not even confirm the number of tables cos in-law side still wants to count. Faint.
