If it's for your PS, then still got time to get right? Buy from eBay! THere are a lot of really nice ones from HK! Approx $40 thereabouts?

cow cow >> Talk to the seller and see how long they normally take to dispatch... explain the situation to them, look at the feedback? they look like quite a big seller and I don't think delivery from HKG to SIN will take more than a week.

Hi Eve... Carousel sounds good!

Was thinking that I'll buy over the lace umbrella from those who have used since it would be a 1-time use for us.

Wanna ask you girls, for jiemei dresses, will anyone of you be MTM-ing? I'm thinking of taking my jiemei's measurements to BKK for tailoring... not sure how long it will take or how much it will cost though...

Prob is I most likely cannot buy off the rack as my jie mei comes in a variety of "sizes", not all can fit into those generic dresses which we can bulk purchase.

Hi Kass
I intend to make too. Going BKK is a great idea and it is cheaper. What if alteration needs to be made? It will be a problem. I will get a local seamstress, probably about $100 per piece. For BKK, i think will be half the price...
Infact it is really troublesome to get all to agreed on a design. I am having headache on this...At the end of the day, I may get them to buy something off the rack in accordance to a certain colour theme...
Warmest Regards
Janice Ong

Kass, I'm MTM-ing my bridesmaid dresses with Kim. I met her last week with my bridesmaids. The first fitting will be done in December. Labour cost is around 170 dollars per dress. The cost of the materials have not been added

I totally agree with you that it's quite hard to buy off the rack as they have different preferences and different sizes.

Kass, yup, I'll be paying the entire sum...we have no gate crashing so they won't have any red packets to take...
For the groomsmen, I think they will use their own suits...i do hope they have black suits...hehehe...
we will provide the accessories (bow tie etc) for them to match the colours of the bridesmaids' dresses...

Hi ladies.. Im not going to MTM my jiemei's dresses. Will just give them a colour theme to coordinate.

Hi Marian - $170 per dress is expensive... and that's not including the fabric?

Hi Siy.. Yes, Ive been to Shashlik. They have quite nice food

Hi Ladies,

We had a problem here, we had a hard time booking hotel for oct and nov 2011. Had call up most of the 5 stars hotels in Singapore but none are available. Any other location (e.g country clubs) will u ladies advice? Or any one have 1 Oct or 19 Nov slot to exchange?

TIA!!

Hi Rach and Kass,

We are actually looking at ard 30-35 tables. Budget $1200 and below. But most hotel are fully booked. Sad!!

Karen - You can try Orchid Country Club (Peach Garden) or Keppel Club (Peony Jade). Both have the capacity for your dinner. Do also consider the hotels in Sentosa, if you haven't as well.

RWS and MBS should have the capacity as they have a large function space, but prices are above your budget. But no harm checking them out as well.

Hi Cheryl, my bf is Loud!'s director so I'm with them... How they work is, they get to know the couple personally, know the style you like, your personality, and give you something that's what you want and speaks off YOU..

My best friend is 36 frame's VG... She is good of course! Lol...
