Hi chloe11: I went to their wedding show on 24th Jan 2010 and booked my banquet on that day.. and indeed the price went up gain..in fact it went up a lot compared to 2010 price...

So not to worry... but the price will be shooting up and up every now and then..

So if you have a date in mind... do book earlier to avoid disappointment..

I'm not sure about it at the moment. but likely. as i am planning to have a buffet and prefer not to have a typical chinese sit down wedding meal. Have eaten so many that people kinda get tired of it already. Though buffets are not anywhere cheaper. thinking GWP

yeah tis something different compared to those traditional ones. however, gotta consider bout the elderly. cos some of them have very traditional mindsets. =) GWP is nice! it's one of my choices too! =D you managed to get quotes from them?

sob.. i m overseas at the moment. so missing the festive cheer.. in the wintery cold...

the last i asked GWP, their quotes are open only in April. so nope. no quotes for them.

We also decided on a separate day for solemnisation but finding a nice venue proved hard within budget.

Will be having my ROM in NOV this year end… but still in search for a venue…

Janice: It's really up to you. Really depends on where you would like to have it, hotel or retaurant?

If hotel, how many star hotel cause usually those 5-stars are about 1.2K and above/table and also depends on how many table you would prefer. Most hotels are really strict with their minimum number of tables.

miumiulavie: yup i've booked my banquet already and it's higher than this year's rate...the banquet rates are really going up by the years..

As for downpayment I think it's usually around 5K...do you have your date already? cause once you have your date you can go around looking as some hotels pricelist are out already...

CH: we choose just choose the date we want and we didn't consult any master for the customary date...

read that novotel's parking maybe a problem for your guest and I'm not sure if the price list is out already...you should get your date before asking them...

wow....so nice can go taiwan for PS...i'll be doing next year only because my AD gown would be one of the PS gown....so sad

Hi shuhua, no worries. I have booked anything yet too. Just comfirm planning last weekend onli. I think still not too late. But I am always advise to book banquet first. As for the rest, u still can take ur time.

shuhua: yup...it's adviced to book your banquet first cause if your dragging it until nov, maybe most of the hotels would have been book...so far Pan Pac price list would only be out in June I think which is the latest, the rest that I check are mostly our or coming out in April...

Janice: I also feel lunch don't really have the feel...anyway i can't have lunch either because need to have church ceremony..

I've booked my venue at Four Season already...

As mentioned earlier i'm practically done with most of the big stuff...hehehe...

Hi all..I am also most prob a Nov 2011 bride. Met up with Master Tong to select our date and sort of finalise it at 19 Nov 2010. I had also sign the bridal package with SG Bridal House.

I am still keeping a lookout for Hotel. What recommendation do you all have?

Wow... alot of Nov 2011 brides here.

I didnt go to any master to select a date. My man and I ROMed on 11.11.09, hence we used back the same date for my customary wedding.

Ive checked out alot of hotels before deciding on Hilton. Unfortunately Ive deleted all those quotations that the hotel sent me, else I can share with you.

Alot of the price range starts from 1.1K and above. Eg. Marina Bay area hotels are from 1.5K, hotels in Orchard are generally from 1.3K.

Hilton asked for 4K, Orchard Hotel asked for 5K.

My gf signed up with Goodwood Park and GWP asked for 20%.
