I really am quite overwhelmed by all the wedding prep, the acronyms you all use (what is AD? what is BS? etc), all the things I have to do, from the dress to the package (what package??) to the dinner etc.
argh!
all I know is, my guy and I plan to get married in december 2010.
ok, so what do I need to do? do I have to engage a wedding planner/organizer? I don't want one, if possible..
all I know and what I want, are:
1. a small intimate wedding dinner (at most 8 tables)
2. preferably outdoors, or at least semi-outdoors
3. weekends (stupid question: is a friday evening considered a weekend?)
can I get a solemnizer (spelling, pardon me) to 'ROM' us just before the dinner? or is it only in the day? how much in advance do I need to 'reserve' this person?
I have a photographer in mind; he's an old friend, so that's settled, but where do I get a wedding dress? is it all in a package, and if so, what's in a package? argh!!
please help! I mean, is there even a step by step FAQ for brides to be in singapore?
