some updates here:
i'll be collecting my CS next wkend...
wedding bands sometime in end jan....
PS will be on 26feb and we havent start to recee for outdoor venues....
shoes for my CS also not found yet, dun think will hv time to make one now

will look for simple and cheaper pair for PS then slowly take time to look for nicer ones for AD

next, i will hv to source for MUA for 2 mothers and maybe perhaps for emcee... dun think will hv enough budget to sponsor for JMs... and i trust their own makeup skills
time will be quite tight too (FMPOV) cos they will hv to help ard for my ROM and dinner... no time for them all to wait and q for 1 MUA

girlie: depends on which type of BS u r taking? the Ala Carte ones or the all in 1 types? the norm is 3 makeups ( 1 PS, 1 AD & 1 AD nite)+ 1 trial, PS (all in 1), Car deco, ur gowns (depends on which type of BS u take), 2 suits, accessories, 2 bouquets.. .

DS_gerl: me unlikely to get MUA for JMs too ... cos i already nd 1 MUA for my 2 mummies & mayb another 1 MUA for my 2 sisters... if my 4 JMs i nd to get, it will b another 1 more MUA... no matter hw resourceful i m, i can at most get 2 MUAs lah.. plus i dun really nd my JMs to stay too long as well... & the cost of getting so many MUAs is making me faint... lolz... i think i will learn bridal makeup lah cos it's so easy $$$

anyway my hotel is at orchard so it should be easier for them to look for a salon. actually MU im not that worry cos they know how to doll themselves le but the hairdo is the challenge. i oso hope i can change my hairstyle for the first and sec march-in. ive frds who do hairstyling, maybe i will ask their rate first b4 engaging them.

as for ur case, i think u can ask ur BS mua first... hw much they charge for additional hairdo... cos i think it will be a hassle to engage another mua juz to do a hairstyle for u...
if ur frens who r doing hairstyling r close ones... perhaps they might do for u for free...

Anyone here getting the JM's dress done? i have 8 JMs and i've bought the material , but no idea when is it appropriate to start (some of my JMs worried that they might put on weight after the measurements are taken..)

pink> usually the BS pkg dun include makeup/hairstyle for 2nd march in...
if time allows, ur MUA can also do MU for both mothers... but that's additional charge and that means she needs to come earlier.... so u got to let her kw in advance wat time she needs to arrive at the venue and book her for that time slot.... usually is do MU for mothers first then bride

Deb, bluey> hm... my tailor is one of my JM's Bf's mum. so at the end of it, i might just give her a big angpao for that. i ask some tailors at chinatown , they say to measure to make a dress is about $80-90/pc

anyway, i guess topping up for ur existing BS MUA shld be much more cheaper than engaging another MUA juz to do additional hairstyle... less hassle too...
