Yah...Fullerton will be great...but jux called them and they have a min requirement of 35 tables and I am only lookin at 20...so I guess tts out...

I’ve heard of weddings in zoo b4… but nv got a chance to attend any at the moment… shld b quite interesting….
but I’m quite pessimistic when coming to holding outdoor wedding… cos afraid of bad weather…

grace> i considered the zoo. but the pricing is not cheap and the menu for the buffet is terrible. I gave up cos its really not worth the money. They even charge 150 for dry ice .But its really really pretty there haha

Hi all

I'm also a 101010 BTB, holding my solemnisation and dinner on the same day (hopefully will be able to get a JP yikes!). I grew up overseas and am quite westernised, so we're doing away with most of the traditional things, which makes things a lot simpler.

Trying to source for a BS but I'm very confused, so many things to research! If you have any good lobangs on BS pls pm me thanks!

Not to mention I need to lose quite a bit of weight too sighhhh.

for JP, i heard can oni book them like 3 months b4 ur wedding date... but not sure for cases whereby they r aware that certain dates r very popular... they might allow early bookings...

for BS, there a few different types currently in the mkt for u to choose from...
1) ala carte (choose ur own WG, PS, MUA, etc) - this might add up to very pricey
2) one stop BS - includes everything in a pkg... and also depends on ur nego skill &amp; their flexibility to throw in more perks for u (prices usually starts from $3k onwards)
3) overseas BS in sg - becoming very popular... their pkg offers u to overseas PS (common ones r taiwan)... quite comprehensive also... but some dun include gowns for AD
4) go over to our neighbour country (JB) - their pkg rates are the same in terms of value but in different currency... PS r also very nice... pkg perks r on par with most BS in sg...

back to my usual quote: work within ur budget =)

baby_daffodil > at least your dinner will be in KL, finding a restaurant with good food and ambience is quite easy... mine is goin to be in a small town in Muar, been there so many times but i've never really see a restaurant with good ambience... more of open air and zhi char style... i just leave it to my mum to plan for me there..

i tried to set a theme for my ROM.. but my husband do not want the guests to feel restricted in what they have to wear (i.e. colour theme) or go and buy something specifically just for our wedding... in the end i just gave up and stick to a garden theme as my ROM is held in My Secret Garden.. we tried to find favours that's related to the theme and i designed a simple invitation to match the theme as well..

PG $880 and VG $1130..
I find it quite cheap.

Most important is they don't collect deposit before hand. Payment done when collect the photo.
