clouds, only $2k+ PAX to visit 4 countries in europe for 12 days? if so cheap, i also wan to go leh! from what i understand, package europe trips is at least $3k+ (nearer to $4k). so, after including taxes, it will be about $4k. that would mean, for 2 PAXs, it will easily cost at least 10k (incl meals which are not provided, tips to driver, tour guides - hecty sum meh.. coz is US$1/day PAX & shopping)

yah. i think it's like less than 2k per person right? got villa plus all meals + most activities included. sounds like the perfect honeymoon to me! i don't like water sports so will sit by beach n see fish swim or read books anyway.

but never signed up coz no leave to go honeymoon liao... =(

vvn, i made a mistake, it's actually DBS card offer. Hey quite good deal but mus book by 15 july...ARGHH... only 1198 per person for superior room, 4D3N. villa is 1688 per pax.

Diamond - Not too sure also. Maybe it's the cheaper airlines and hotels. It was in last week's paper. Go check it out if you keen. Anyway, we didn't sign up as we still thinking. The promo is over by now. Hope to get good deals from natas in sep.

clouds....me also planning to go europe...got a few frens went tis yr with CB n they all commented that they r good...am waiting for the cb inhouse fair at suntec n hope to grab a good deal...me planning to go after AD and come back ard xmas also...hee hee hee...looking at 16 or 14days trip to make it worth while but will costs ard 4k per pax i thk....

hi meow, will try to update asap.. tmr maybe quite busy cos got some events happening at work..

clouds, europe cold but i think still fine. i was ard paris n london in dec and it was above 0degrees so quite fine.. definitely dry so juz bring lip balm n lots of moisturisers.. also rem conditioner for hair, when i got back, hair was super dry..
if possible, europe on f&e is better.. then not so rushed n can take time to take in the sights n spend more time in each place..

i think egypt is nt a bad place for HM, went on a 10day tour, (this one MUZ go w tour grp.. egyptians will totally RIP US off if we go on our own.. ) 4nights on cruise.. and the cruise takes us along the Nile to visit attractions along the banks.. so its VERY relaxing on the cruise along the way, juz laze ard in the room till we get to the next destination!

i'll prob start on HM planning in after im settled into new home..

daman n elven, food tasting was good! i took mainly dishes fr old menu.. only the sharks fin was too salty.. then.. oven-baked chicken(new menu) nt very nice.. the vanilla ice cream w glutinous rice(new menu) is nice!

maez are you referring to the oven-baked debone chicken with crispy garlic and ginger?? eh..tried on my friend's wedding end of last yr.. thought not bad.. at least its not as dry as i thought..

ha.. as other coll of mine is having his wedding is on the 9th Dec atR TP.. my colls tell us to plan our menu such that they taste different dishes not all the same ha.

Hubby is going to finish the ppt slides and I am going to burn finish the 4 wedding songs today. Just wondering for the jie meis duties, is it better for me to assign their duties individually or write a list of duties and ask them to pick according to their own choice??? Which is better?

Me still not sure I need to get hong bao box or not, cause my mum is taking back my daddy side relatives hongbaos, I am taking my friends hongbaos and hubby is taking his side hongbaos. If we put an hongbao box, will there be confusion when distributing the hongbao money later??? Just wondering....

I intend to ask my dad to make the corseages for me, but I am not sure is he free or not. I will check with him first. As my father is doing a florist business, so think if I get from him. It will be cheaper than outside florist . Hope to save some money. Hee Hee

As for the tea dress, I wanted to choose earlier. But the bridal shop staff don't allow, they told me don't need to be so early. They told me to choose my tea dress half month before my wedding day. I wonder why... They told me that they altar the dress will be very fast takes about two days only. They don't let me choose when I went down to collect my albums last week.

hey clouds! nah lah, where got silly..

was there last 2 weeks dec, no snow, juz light rain.. so wear waterproof jacket w hood, juz lift up hood and can walk aredi! no need unbrella, the rain really v fine..

it snowed in sweden when i was there jus before i went london n paris.. but cos its higher up north.. THERE i dun recommend gg in dec.. its FREEZING!!!!

actually NZ is really beautiful too.. was there when it was covered w snow.. pretty!! and v relaxed too.. so (i cant rem) angel/panda wants to go there right? it'll be great!

oh yes, i do notice tt it'd b hot in dec, but w flowers in bloom, it'd sure be another totally different experience too!
