as what jelly mention, just change to a new bed sheet....or alternatively is to shift the bed a little to off position...then when AC, just shift the bed back to the place u all wan to place....

mehmeh...i also ask my hubby to sleep on the bed after AC.....after AD he is going to sleep also mah...so i see no diff whether to sleep now or later...

Yup! I think I would juz lay another new bedsheet to symbolise the "AC" again. Afraid of moving again and instead of changing for better, it gets worse...hehe...

I heard fr my cousin tat must put dunno what dried longan on the bed as well. Are you gals placing these stuff too on AC or AD?

Hi gals,

I am sooo happy!!!

Have finally finalised and signed with Silhouette!! What a load off my mind!!! Have also at the same time sat down with Heath to discuss about the WG (off-white, embroidery, design, etc etc). Showed him quite a few pictures of the WGs that i liked, so that he had a better idea of what i liked. He will be drawing up the designs and will be meeting him again after i come back from my biz trip next week.

Had such a fun time!! And, such a load off my mind because i have finally concluded on my BS and i have a better idea what my WG will look like. Whew!!!

Supposed to confirm design by end April so that they can start making the WG. Heath has also asked me to start thinking about my EG.

I finally gotten my key from the ex-owner.
Feel bit sad to see the hse bare with rubbish not cleared by the ex-owner as she said no time to clear much. She is leaving S'pore for good, going back to China. Dun come back again!!!

Hi all, I just came Beijing, teinjin & chengde yesterday. I advice everybody, if you want to go China, do it free and easy. Never never join group tour. I am so sick of all the sale talks.

After I came back from China, I think our food is much much healthier than those in China. Their food is very very salty and oily. You dun have to apply lip balm after you finish your food.

wah....now discussion on AC.....hmmm....just to contribute...

Me oredi living in my lovenest for coming a yr....so my mum told me that for AC, just need a Zhang3 Bei4 who have blissful marriage ( my mum wud do it) to change new bedsheets the day b4 AD. reason for the day b4 is coz we have to still slp mah....but eve of AD I wud being staying at my parent's place liao...but hubby wud have to spend the night in our lovenest....but he oso can't slp on that bed after AC done, so gotta either slp on sofa or on tilam....anyway,just a night, he bo bian lor....have to follow....

I oso found out that got to place red-dates, melon seeds, lian zi, etc on the bed after AC, and the next day got to display ur SDJ on the bed to show that u marry of well....me not likely to do all this, kipping my fingers crossed that my mum wun insists though....my MIL very easy, do or dun do, doesn't bother her....some customs say even have to put sewing kit....depends on how rigid ur folks are lor....

lucky for me, no mention of spitton and face basin....but must have chuang tou deng....(bedside lamps)....

thought that the process of wedding planning is fun and exciting....but as the date draws nearer.....after all the fun part finalise (gowns, MUA etc) now comes the crunch of the customs part really headache....

I actually went to buy a red unbrella and a fan coz was told by some1 that I wud need to be sheltered by a red unbrella when I chu jia, and b4 I get into the car must throw a fan out....then found out my mum say no need.....haiz.....imagine I carry that red umbrella all the way from HK.....so stoopid....

now problem is i'm marrying a teochew, and my mum oso teochew ( though i'm hainanese),my mum insist that my hubby have to pick me up b4 dawn. really can die.....imagine having to start shu tou and make-up like say at 3am???????? even my hubby oso cannot tahan, coz he say we wud be loitering along the streets coz his family wud not be up so early....most of them have young children, so not ez to get them to be at IL's place for tea ceremony so early oso... still trying to work out this part lor....thk if have to start so early, I can only draw 1 conclusion: I wud be a panda bride, and I would probably K.O on my own wedding nite.....

rgdg the AP box thinggy, me thk the bigger the better, but sits betw 2 helpers at the reception table, not on the recept table.....big difficult to snatch and run away....then put a reliable person (likely some1 at the recept table) in charge. This person wud jaga the AP box and then return to the suite with u after the 1st march in, then can empty all the APs from the box and put into the safe in the suite. Alternatively, if the carpark not far, can lock the whole AP box in the boot. We did that for 1 of my gf's wedding at Chijmes (coz car parked just right outside). Big Big AP box oso can serve another purpose, for guests to drop in the APs instead of passing it to parents, grandparents etc....for my case, this is very crucial!!

and helpers can help to identify by writing the names on the back of the APs as they assign the guest to their tables....so u noe who give how much.....rather than parents end up with super bulging pockets with APs and dunno who give wat....
that's my personal opinion lah....keke....

i am not sure when spotlight is closing? but its gonna be pretty soon (within this month??)..yups i am giving away mini pots of honey with corny taglines like "will you bee mine" or " bee my honey" (will think of 10 so each person at each table will get a different one)..so need the ribbons to tie the taglines to the jar? prob will try to arrange for sunflowers or other honey-hued flowers for the centrepieces and reception decor for the banquet so that the whole theme will gel together? or geberras also can i think..heh..

But my BS says that the 2 sides of the album must "match" else will be very weird. ie. cannot be one vertical one horizontal nor 2 totally different "zhao xin". maybe it's their way of making us buy more pics... 4-6 weeks not too bad lar. The piano is already in the ballroom..no need to pay to use...My hotel charges extra for muslim meals. Anyway, I dun have many muslim friends.. but if u do have many muslim friends, is quite a good idea to put them in the reserve table lor..

talking abt breaking the news, my whole office pl know abt it liao and i'm not the only one preparing for wedding. have another 4 colleagues also getting married and the best part is our dates r all in sequence...starting frm Dec05-Apr06, every mth 1 wedding.luckily i'm the 1st one, so hopefully the ang pow will be the biggest.. haha.. all other colleagues in the office very stressed

..must start saving ang pow $$ liao

me managed to buy a red colour heart shape Ang Bao box from the wkend market... also bought 1/2 dozen of bra & panty back... very happy & satisfied with this trip,.. except that I LOST MY HANDPHONE IN THE CAB TO THE AIRPORT !!.. sad, this is the 2nd phone i lost in 9mths...

Hi there nena, for AD photography I highly recommend ray ong from photolanguage, his AD photos are one of the best in this business. Meng from imagegarden good in colour and black and white AD shots. For videography, you can have a look at fabian lim, the wedding paparazzi, p1lgrim pictures (replace 1 with i). You can do an online search for them..they all have websites!

Trying to keep my budget for wedding favors low..over-spent on many items already

..favors from these gift shops tend to be more expensive..trying my best to source for one which is within my budget..else will keep to the chocolate provided by FS..

My coordinator is Georgette. We have not met up to discuss on the wedding details yet but would have to arrange food tasting with her soon...

Will be engaging my nephew to play the piano for me..he will play the march in song for me..my only worry is that the sound from piano may not be loud enough to create the effect for a grand march in ..

I understand the pain to lose a hp. Mine was stolen from my bag in a MRT and it's also a 3 months old phone. I didn't know who stole it but i suspect it's a worker who was standing behind me and i was careless to put my hp at the side pocket of my gym bag. I just curse and swear at the thief in my heart.....sigh.....and it's so troublesome to lose a hp cos all the contacts gone....just like a part of your life missing like that.......
