Hi Starfruit, I just came back from HM in May and can share some of my experiences with you. We stayed at one of the hotels at Latin Quarter. Nice quaint hotel near the Luxumbourgh gardens/ metro (5 mins walk) and the happening restaurant area (5-10 mins). The metro (10 trips ticket) can be...

Lessons start in the morning with a trip in the market to learn how to choose the fresh ingredients and spices (we skipped that cos we didn't have time), followed by the cooking session. We learnt to...

    Bali Trip

Hi Jayen Ubud is a lovely town that's not to be missed! Aside from the dirty duck restaurant mentioned earlier, there is also Lamak, where the food is simply fabulous too! Don't worry too much about hiring drivers from here. There are plenty in Bali and you can get very good bargains, if you...

Hi Matilda Grand Shanghai can accomodate about 200 pax easily if you book the whole restaurant. As mentioned earlier, my dinner is only for about 6 tables of friends, so I was hoping that we can have a private room within the restaurant. Having dinner with friends as versus normal sit down...

Hi Matilda, We went to check out Grand Shanghai ytd after reading your recommendations. It's really quite nice. Pity that the restuarant does not "seggregate" or provide any partitioning. Any idea if the food is good? But nevertheless, we'll consider it. Will check out the other two later this...
