Anyone having the Tea Ceremony at banquet venue?

Hi Charmaine, I had my wedding at Four Seasons and the hotel arranged for one of their staff to wash the cups, pour the tea etc. The only thing we had to do was for our tea lady to take the tea from the hotel staff. It was very convenient, we didn't have to prepare anything, even the tea was...

    Four Seasons Hotel

Hi Ewan, It depends on which ballroom you are booking. Mine was held at the Crescent Ballroom and the minimum was 12 tables but you could have less than 12 so long as the total of the menu u choose comes up to a minimum of at least the lowest tier menu added up in total for 12 tables.

Hey Cutiephinphin, sorry for the late response. I went for the white and gold theme, not very exciting but it was the safest option as we didn't want any of the colours to clash with our outfits. Hope this helps. Hi Dreammy, FS do remind you but its also best to be proactive yourself so that...

    Four Seasons Hotel

To all future couples considering Four Seasons, we just had our wedding on 7 Sept and we have only praises to sing about the day and Four Seasons. Service was ace throughout our planning and there was so little that we had to do. Food was excellent and service was superb. Our guests were...

Anyone having the Tea Ceremony at banquet venue?

Weiwei, I think if u have tea ceremony after the buffet, it could be messy as you have to gather everyone together and also, some people might want to leave early? Start would be better I think.

    A Simple Wedding - Anyone

Hi Twinfairy, I was very confused at the start of my preparations and went to a few BS to source but prices are so ex! In the end, I am DIYing myself. Got my gown brand new OTR from D'Sire - they do alteration and dry cleaning for only SGD30 so that's not an issue. The dress was only SGD799...

Any Brides whose HTB is 'Ang Mo'?

Hey Sacredspirits, Mrs N, I don't think there's any "price" difference in registering marriage in SG or UK anymore as my friend recently got married to a British person - they registered their marriage in Singapore and she had to pay an equivalent sum to what we pay for the visa so I think in...

    Four Seasons Hotel

Hey Mage, I love your long table setup - I am having a 9 course dinner and was considering the long table - will it work? I find the round tables too suffocating but long table I'm afraid guests will find it hard to mingle? Btw, how was the service provided by Ho Mun Hoong? Was he flexible in...

Any Brides whose HTB is 'Ang Mo'?

Hey girls, thanks for sharing your wedding experiences with me as its very helpful to me. Chrisl, I think my wedding will be more like yours as what you've done or haven't done is exactly the way I was going to do mine - my HB is not keen on gatecrashing as he thinks its embarassing for him...

Woah de_luxe, your wedding day sounds very elaborate! I was not even planning on sticking any stickers or decorating my house and didn't even think about si dian jing? Don't even know what that is but my parents didn't say anything so I presume no need? I don't even think my mum wants the roast...

    A Simple Wedding - Anyone

Monkeymuffin, I have yet to source my flowers but that is a small matter & can be easily resolved as I'm not planning on too pompous flowers. Simple and elegant and perhaps only a few corsages that's all. As for MUA, not sure yet. I have had a few recommendations from friends but haven't...
