i think what canniechanky meant is that check with them if you need to top-up for the gowns u like. some BS will charge additional to your package if the gown u like belongs to a 'premium' or 'exclusive' or higher range.
yes have to place a refundable deposit when we collect the gowns. this is...
my contract did state around 2.5k/hour if we exceed the timing. however, the coordinator told us that so far the exceeds are just awhile, still reasonable. so they usually close one eye and have not charged any couples before.
if I'm not wrong, there's a stipulated timing for ballroom usage in the contract eg. 7-11pm. if exceed then have to pay hourly charges. but I've never heard of hotels really invoicing for the exceeded time so far la.. :)
Need some opinions.. Can't decide which is more suitable for ROM?
(sash and ribbon for the gown on the left can be removed.)
Does anyone have other recommendations? I'm looking for a simple, short gown.

ohh.. enjoying your wedding planning! :) which caterer do you intend to engage? do share with us your planning journey for gbtb.. hehe.. personally i'm interested to know even though i've already booked my venue..
Have u met the coordinator? we like the place a lot, but found it quite troublesome to have to coordinate many areas on our own.. And can't find much info online. ended up booking a hotel venue instead..
i started making a list of JPs we would like, about 3-4 mths prior. then approached the solemniser my friend recommended 3 mths b4 met up within 2 weeks to discuss and sign the consent form.
isn't that considered breach of contract on the hotel's end? cos the date and timing is clearly agreed in the contract.
for my friend's case, the venue compensated by providing an alternative (more expensive) hotel venue for her instead. of cos she doesn't have to fork out the difference.
that's what i'm afraid of too. but no choice, if their sales tactic is like thatl, anytime u visit be it at the BS boutique or at roadshow, they will hardsell one.
i went to memoire & co and the person was quite nice though.
