Seems a bit tight... cos most my friends recommended to prepare at least 1 yr in advance. I think u should start hunting for the venue right nw~ come out with a rough guestlist first so you can zoom in all the venues based on the minimum number of tables. ☺

In the end we booked the grand marquee at hotel fort canning :)

We liaise with Ms Nur a malay lady. She's pleasant.. just that overall there is some lapse in response time. Yea we did ask abt floral arrangement.. she did say it can be arranged with their vendor at our own cost..

I checked out pickering before too! Its quite nice i like the recep area.. u can hv the whole place to yrself. However the room which they provide for solemnisation/tea ceremony is too small.. n response from the coordinator is nt v prompt..

Hello! I went to check out Conrad before maybe like 2 mths back. My date in oct 2016 was alr taken. They were quite packed alr.. n offered us april 2016 (qing ming period) which is probably why it was still available.. the coordinator also told us that a couple which wedding date was in Jan 2017...

Hello meowing! I think there's a rental fee of $5k whether u do it for lunch or dinner. I went to their showcase in the afternoon n i find it rather cold. But probably because there's v little people inside the marquee. If there are 200+ guests n there will be people walking in n out of the...

Yea.. people engage cos of the chief photographer.. in the end he completely didnt turn up.. also heard from my friends that some photographers turned up late or slacking away during the ceremony... so i am v concerned with all this haha.. its impt to engage someone who is responsible.. n not...

Yup their videos are not bad n the price is very competitive I must say. Did your colleagues n cousins mention that they are nice to work with? Im just worried.. i read before that some photographers will just totally MIA on yr AD and they send in some freelancers instead. :(

Anyone has recommendations for AD photography+videography? :)

Hi Jas, how's the hotel? :) I like the settings.. will the hotel provide shuttle bus to pick up your guests? Its slightly inconvenient especially i have relatives who stay in the West.
