Anyone took photos at Art Museum ?

Hi Ashley, You don't have to pay to do a shoot at Art Museum, the places that you have to buy a ticket to get access to are the galleries in which photography is strictly prohibited. I should have some photos taken at the Arts Museum on my website, do have a look if you're interested...

    AD Photogrpahy Questions

Hi Frances, Different bridal studios or boutiques have different practices, best is to see it yourself in terms of what is offer. And price alone doesn't tell you much about the photography, and it really depends on how upfront the photographer is when it comes to pricing. As to how...

    AD Photogrpahy Questions

In Singapore, there isn't really a "standard" practice, really. In Australia or USA market, it's a different thing altogether. What's the business value and philosophy of the photographer, I feel these should be a big consideration when they choose a photographer. Stephen...

    AD Photogrpahy Questions

Hi Tris Tan, I do believe in returning the full-resolution files rather than downscaling it to those enough for display. I'm pretty upfront with this and would state it in the contract. Guess for the services I provide and the fees that I charge, I think it's fair to the couple. As for...

    AD Photogrpahy Questions

Hi shootingstarz, This question sprung up quite often in my meetings with the couples. My advice is to check with the photographer or bridal studio whether the in-between break is counted as part of the 12 hours. Different photographers have different practices and do find out whether...

    Where to DEVELOP photos

eSthericiious: if you can find one in JB that will deliver to your doorsteps, I really don't mind I don't work for any labs, but getting a photolab to print isn't just all about the price but things like service, handling of prints DOES matter a lot. I'm not so sure JB but I know for sure...

    A special Wedding

ellery: Cutting matt board takes a lot of practice and patience in order to get a perfect sharp corner. Apply too much pressure, you can see the paper buldging out where the intersection is. I personally prefer to let people do the handy work for me.

    A special Wedding

Joseph: Good stuffs come with a price. For example, good wedding albums are really hard to find in Singapore... many of the "standard" magazine style albums provided by bridal studios these days are either made in china or malaysia. Imported albums from overseas would easily cost 2-3 times more...

    A special Wedding

Hi Ai Ting, Passepartout is not very common in Singapore, but you'll see them everywhere overseas, even in budget shops similar to Ikea. Also, the acid-free matt board is not cheap - I actually shopped in Netherlands for a wedding couple and the matt board alone costed like 19 Euros...

    Where to DEVELOP photos

Ai Ting, Actually, there's not much diff and it all about individual preference. However, the one operating the machine and handling your print is more important. For things like wedding photos, I prefer to send it Australia to have them printed. Kodak seems to be the prefered choice of...

    A special Wedding

Hi baby_jo, Passepartout is used in a photo frame to separate the print from the glass. To be a bit more technical, it's about 3mm thick cardboard, with a rectangular or square cut out in the centre to "frame" the picture (our grandparents generations loved to use those oval or heart shaped...
