hanoi is nice esp shopping for household stuff but prefer sapa it is even cheaper than saigon in hanoi i stay at elegance 3 which stay her business jan 2008 so can imagine clean or not in Sapa stay at topas eco lodge for 2 nites...really relax and get charge up for hectic singapore working...

choc, anyway in hokkaido is not boring, pb is whether wat U like ?winter sport?onsen?adventure? do more research and just book airticket and JR pass and chiong can liao lah me heading up 10 feb 2007

hee comfirm u need JR pass if u gg frpm tokyo to hokkaido driving in winter not advisable in hokkaido although many have done it

yes F&E is the way to for japan it is not expensive as one think U can find 180 yen ramen in osaka if U realli do ur research well ...or if u dare take their ramen challenge (eat 3 bowl ramen in 15 min and it will be FOC else penalty of 1500 Yen haha) So far my 1st trip spent 3k for 10...
