I think it all depends on your arrangement with your parents. The dowry can comprise of either relatives' angbaos (i.e. give tables) or a big angbao from the groom's family.
So say your htb plans to give your parents 5 tables of relatives, then your parents would keep the angbaos from these 5...
Super useful unless you have a helper! If not she will be of great help for changing gowns, changing hairstyle and touching up. And even holding your belongings.

mine is the pre wedding plus AD photography package. apparently they gave us a special rate due to their May roadshow. so they are giving us the premium package (premium gown selection plus digital layout for the album) at the normal package price. Chris ling (and a designer) personally attended...
their ballroom is really nice and it's probably one of the more affordable packages around, heard they kept increasing their price! too bad they didn't renovate the hotel itself. u took the grand ballroom? or the smaller one?
