Hi guys, A friend of mine gave me a pot of aloe vera plant. When I cut the leave, inside is gel like. Anybody knows how to get the bits like thing you find in some drinks? Thanks!

    Cooker Hood and Hob

Mine too. Been using my turbo hood for more than 5 yrs. Still going strong - just make sure you maintain it properly. OTherwise any brand also won't last. I changed my hob to turbo about 2 yrs ago because previous one the fire not strong. Very pek-chek when frying veggie. I got it from...

    Oven

Hi Homeboy, I also don't know why this forum is very against OEM. Actually, if the brands have been around in Singapore for many years, like Techno & Turbo, they can't be too bad, right? I don't want to shoot down Brandt because I've not used it before. But reading the latest posting...

    DRYER - Help

But if you read carefully, they calculate base on 1 hour usage of gas dryer vs 2 hour usage of electric dryer. Moreover, the heat input of the electric dryer used seems to be on the high side.... Not so sure how realistic the comparison is...

6.5 or 7 kg front load washer, which model is good?

My mom sometimes does that - she use the water to wash floor.

    Oven

I saw a couple of table top ovens & some built-in ovens. Remember seeing Delonghi, Cornell, Turbo (table top & built-in) and Rowenta and I think also got Sanyo.

    WASHING MACHINE-which brand is good?

I'm a Turbo washer cum dryer user for many years. Current one is a 8 kg wash/ 5 kg dry. Have used this current one for more than a year. Still very quiet & no problem with it. I know a lot of forumers don't advocate washer cum dryers but I find the dryer very useful in a few occassions...

A place to show your beautiful kitchen....

Hi, My kitchen came with suspended cabinet but I decided to extend the cabinet all the way to ceiling for 2 simple reasons: 1) more cabinet space 2) don't have to worry about dust, oil and insects' droppings etc collected on top of the cabinet!

6.5 or 7 kg front load washer, which model is good?

Hi, I've been using my TURBO washer + dryer TWD6812 for more than a year. So far so good, still very quiet and *touchwood*, no problem so far. My previous TURBO washer + dryer served me well for about 8 years.

6.5 or 7 kg front load washer, which model is good?

Hi, I know that this forum prefers the few brands like Electrolux, Brandt, Bosch, Thomson & not to mention Miele. I'm sure every brand has its advantage or they wouldn't be around for so long. My personal experience is Turbo washer/dryer. My previous Turbo washer/dryer served me well...

    Recommendation for Refridgerators

Sorry, been away. Yes, I like MR-45T because of the shelves in the middle especially the last one which is retractable, so can put milk/juices there. Also the freezer got 3 levels - can put more meat without stacking high high. Many other models have only 2 levels. This is my 2nd MR-45T :-)

6.5 or 7 kg front load washer, which model is good?

Is it? I find oven very useful especially when I have friends over for dinner. If you prepare only dishes that require you to use the hobs, difficult to cook a few dishes at the same time. If you have oven, just need to prepare and push it into the oven & monitor once in a while to make...

    Recommendation for Refridgerators

Oh! forgot to add something. I have a friend who's a big fan of Samsung. Most of her appliances are Samsung. The funny thing she said is that Samsung is cheap and last you about 5 years but they send people to your house to check on the fridge every year. (BTW, she has a side by side) She...

    Recommendation for Refridgerators

I have been using Mitshbishi fridge for many years. My previous one was a 3-door fridge. I like the veg compartment which is separated from the milk/tidbits compartment as the fridge doesn't work as hard as compared to a 2-door. After many years, it finally broke down (no cold air). After...
