i'm doing the same thing, solemnisation then tea ceremony, follwed by cocktail and banquet, all at the hotel harpy: by right the tea ceremony is supposed to be after solemnisation - paying respects to the elders as a newly wed couple. but there are pple who do it the other way around to fit...

didn't book the malacca room but went to view it, it's a long L-shaped room, one table on each side but the L is beside the stage, so there will be a couple of tables 'hidden' there
