    Lightings

    huh? downlights were the main component of my lighting expenditure. Non-downlights i spent about $400 ... lights for storeroom, kitchen *2, yard *2, bedside lamp *2 and one floor uplighter. My downlights cost me $1200 (lights only, no installation).

    Food was so so only Service was nothing to shout about Decor was quite elegant (fresh lilies with ivory and gold decor), but lately i've seen that replicated in other hotels ranging from Hyatt to Grand Copthorne to Westin Swissotel ... Personally i find Raffles too expensive.

    how much you pay also depends on the material you chose y'know ... the better the quality the more expensive ... Also Roman blinds are more expensive to do. If you want to cut cost, why not do normal curtain? To cut cost further, maybe you can do WITHOUT day curtains for the bedrooms ...
