Unfortunately, our experience with Mamanda was very disappointing, and if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have chosen them.
The biggest issue wasn't that mistakes happened, it was the lack of accountability throughout the entire planning process.
Months before the wedding, we already encountered problems with the complimentary villa that was promised during the wedding showcase. Instead of handling it for us, we were repeatedly asked to liaise directly with HomeTeamNS ourselves. It was only after we escalated the matter that it was finally resolved. Planning was also frustrating because we'd attend meetings where we'd answer all of their questions, but shortly afterwards we'd receive messages asking for the exact same information again. It honestly made us question what the purpose of the meetings was. The worst part happened the night before our wedding. At almost 11pm, we found out that setup arrangements we had confirmed multiple times hadn't been carried out. Instead of reassuring us or taking ownership, we were repeatedly told that it was HomeTeamNS' responsibility. Eventually we were asked to coordinate directly with the venue ourselves. For us, that completely defeated the purpose of hiring a wedding coordinator. We paid Mamanda because we expected them to coordinate between all the different parties on our behalf. I only managed to sleep around 3am the night before my big day because I was so stressed wondering whether everything would even be ready the next morning. Instead of feeling excited the night before my wedding, I was worrying about logistics. Unfortunately, the issues continued on the wedding day itself. The cocktail table linens were the wrong colour despite prior confirmation, along with several other setup issues that should not have happened after months of planning. The food was also average in our opinion.
Overall, I felt like I had to constantly chase updates and double-check everything instead of feeling reassured. Looking back, that was the most disappointing part.
This was just our experience, and others may have had different ones, but if I had known this was how the coordination would be, I personally would have chosen a different vendor.
