Hello all, I'm a bride to be who is completely clueless about the procedures.. My fiance and I are catholics and we originally intend to have a church wedding (+ solemnisation) and customary dinner end of next year. Problem is, we recently found a HDB flat we love. Which means we have to ROM roughly within 3 mths from now.

So irritating..

My dilema is, can we ROM at external venue first, then 1 yr later have a church wedding and chinese dinner on the same day? Is that too weird? Or should we do ROM in church now, then later do chinese dinner?

Help please..

Think it is only weird if you intend to stay in the new house right after you get the keys to it.

If possible, from the your faith's point of view, do everything together.

i think for your holy mat on ur wedding day, u can do a mock of your signing of cert? i duno..usually everything is done on one day. the wedding banquet can be on separate day but for first day, u'll still hv to hold a buffet lunch or something for ur guests wor.

Hello!

My HTB is non catholic, whereas I am catholic. He would like to hold the solemnisation, exchanging of vows and rings in an outdoor ceremony, while I would like those to be done in a church. Is it possible to have both conducted or must I choose one?

I would like our marriage to be blessed and recognised by the church.

Thanks!

If ur htb wants to have it outside, you can do ROM first and then you do in Church. For the church one, you need to attend MPC or EE first as the requirement.

Hope it helps.
Thank you.
