Ok thanks! Just checked out poh heng/tianpo/chung hwa/oneounce at Chinatown. Goldheart gold at
Ion has quite nice contemporary designs. Will pop by Lee hwa soon! :)

I bought several items from Chung Hwa jade & jewellery at 2nd flr People's Park Complex. Their after service is suck.

I bought 5 bracelets all together. They measure my wrist and said the length Not a problem as they can provide the correct size. After I brought it home, I notice 1 of the 5 bracelets size is not correct. I returned to the shop and they required S$20 to cut it off and I have to absorb the cut pieces or they take it back at discount. As they are the one who have not provided the correct bracelet length, then they finally agree to absorb S$20. I take back the remainder cuts, rather throw it away. Again I only realized the bracelet was not properly fixed and break off after I wanted to wear it. It was toss aside in drawer for sometimes after those unpleasant incident. Luckily the bracelet was dropped at home and not outside in the streets. I have to brought it back for fixing and now they ask for another S$10 or bring it to another shop for repair.

It was obvious the break is at the cut and due to unproper fixing. I would rather fix it with another shop eventhough if it's mean I have to fork out S$20. It's the matter of integrity doing a business and not pushing responsibility aside.

Haha actually I only saw The Aisle Bridal and Beautiful Love before. Love The Aisle Bridal's photos and the korean concept studio. However, i chose beautiful love becauSe its more affordable and their photos are good too! Service is perfect so far ;) moreover, most of my cousins who got married went to beautiful love too :)
Hi, appreciate if you can pm me your bridal package details and price. Thanks!

Hello ladies! I just went down to Odelia Bridal and Rico-a-mona today.
Just want to share my opinion and feedback. we weren't really convinced by Rico on their photography and MUA. For Rico, IMO, they do have alot of gowns and their service is also quite good. but then their photos are more general and it's their gowns that are special.

For Odelia Bridal as we feel they are more flexible and they go for quality more. n my friends tell me that it's either i go for the photo quality or the wow-ness of the gowns. but i was determined to find a studio that can offer both! their package is really competitive and they include alot of perks that i can't seem to find anywhere or maybe i dont knw how to bargain enough. :D the boss of the studio is Rex from Luvaddict and previously 2 of us photography. and he's the main PG and the one who is going to take our PWS too. And as for their gowns, the lady boss designs them herself, and from what i understand she says there's new arrivals coming in every mth. I tried like 2 gowns today n i was sold~ their styles are more classic. and their photos are unique. :p HTB was really impressed with them and we signed with them.
i'm not paid to give this feedback in case you are skeptical. a genuinely overexcited BTB here! LOL.
You can pm me if you need more info on the package i have got! happy to share!! =))

Hey Elmo! I have chosen Odelia Bridal as well!

When is you AD? Mine is 3rd Dec 2017.

Hi 2017 BTBs, this is my first post here and as HTB and I are Super last min in planning, we have just confirmed our bridal, pws and venue for banquet. Our wedding will be in Sept this yr. For our banquet it's about $180+ per head and we don't really have a choice cos most venues are booked It's at a 5 star hotel. Do you guys think it's ok for the pricing? Feeling troubled as I'm not sure if guests will give that much when they attend

Hi Everyone, I'm planning for my wedding :) and target date to end of 2017 and early 2018. would appreciate if BTB can recommend me the masters that you all went to for wedding dates selection. any other masters other than master long or master david tong? Thanks. I'm looking for MUA, PG for PW and AD, Bridal studios / Homemaker wedding gown (know that Vivian is one of them and Tien is no longer doing home personalised gown anymore :( ) and good Chinese restaurant. would not be looking at hotels as my fiancé and I love good food and would want all my guests to be treated with nice food!Cheers! Pm me or post tag me here will do. TIA!

Resort World Sentosa serves good food too. all my guests raved about the food that day. look for Anna, she is the best in the business. friendly, accommodating and helpful.

$180+ pretty standard for 5 stars in my opinion.

As for the red packets, I can understand that but honestly best is treat every guests that come as a blessing as it was us(due to various valid reasons) who decided to have wedding banquet.

Best to make backup plan incase red packets can't cover so that night you won't be stressed over money.

Thanks a lot jjin! I agree with you also that it's our choice to hold it there and that guests shouldn't have to bear the burden of the cost. Relieved to hear that the price is rather standard and we didn't get cheated!

Congrats dear!! Totally understand your red packet thingy as most of our guests are our parents friends and not being able to cover cost is our biggest concern. But again, you've had your biggest problem settled! :) Now concentrate on finding your dream gown, pre wedding shoot etc! Still have some time as I just signed with the gown warehouse for my wedding in November..

Thanks a lot babe! Actually I think the loss might result from our friends rather than our parents friends. :( Then again, u're right! Now it's time to hunt for THE gown and lose weight Congrats to you too and hope everything is going well for u as well ;) Have you settled venue and PWS etc?

My AD is 11.11.17 and I had a hard time finding a venue back last year November (my bf proposed on 11.11.16), so consider yourself lucky that you can at least get a venue ❤

I settled my venue is December last year and settled my Pw shoot vendor last 2 weeks. The shoot should be taking place in June in Singapore. I'm going ala carte

Hi sorry.. What do u mean by aftersales service?

When you go back for gown testing and etc.
details i shall not share too much cause people are doing business afterall.
best is dont pay them in full too early. Pay them on the last day stated acceptable on the contract, not early.

Hello all!
I have 2 questions!

#1: does the bride stand on groom's left or right?

#2: during the banquet, is there any "rule" which side does the bride and groom's side take?

hello everyone! i'm riding on this forum; i've set my wedding date to be on 25 Nov but hadn't had a clue that it is so popular!

question and opinions: for brides flying guests in from overseas, do you provide accommodation for the entire duration of stay here or simply for the weekend? also, what about air fare? i'm wondering as i am flying quite a number of friends and family members home for the AD celebration, and a few of them are coming in from as far as US, so i would like to make their time here as comfortable as possible (after all, they are guests). is it reasonable to foot half of their bill for accommodations and flights or should i just let them pay for their own accommodations and flights on their own?

Hello all!
1st july bride here. Just finished half of my photoshoot last week. It was raining almost everyday in the afternoon last week so we cannot go for outdoor shoots. Only managed to take in studio and at victoria concert hall. Im thinking of botanic gardens for one of the outdoor shoot location. But as u all might have heard of the fallen tree killing a lady, would any of u think twice before choosing botanic gardens for photoshoot?

Wouldn't really recommend La belle Couture at tanjong pagar. I'm halfway through with their package right now and I feel that that service is subpar. Also, my sales coordinator is not on the ball with updates and keeping me in check with my necessary preparation.. When I was talking to my friends with other bridal studios, could tell the lack of service with La Belle. I have highlighted to my sales coordinator on the standards, and she has since MIA and my queries have been 'forwarded' to her other colleagues who will 'pass the message' to her. Also, just taken my prewed shots with them, and I want to cry.. Not as nice as they promoted themselves to be, and I will be looking for another photographer for another prewed photoshoot :(

1st Jul bride here too! Finished my prewed shoot around the same time as u... I was fortunate enough to have some sunshine on the day of my shoot. Actually, There're quite a few reservoirs with nice trees too, you might want to consider Hort park, macritchi or pierce reservoir :)

All the best!

Just a quick review more one 15 marina.

Honestly I don't find the CS good. I went to recee and honestly things were all smooth and good till the day I paid the deposit.

Email replies got really slow, messages to the co-ordinator got zero replies.

I am supposed to go for my food tasting in Jan 2017, everything was booked. My family and I took leave to find out that they are unable to have food tasting. Only informed us less that a week beforehand.
Still waiting to see how they solve this issue.

I would recommend this place to any brides at this point in time.

Sad to hear that... my experience with them is satisfactory so far though! My coordinator takes about 1-2 days to reply but that's still acceptable for me.

Food tasting went pretty well. Staff assisting the Chef was also very courteous and receptive towards our suggestions.

Keeping my fingers cross that AD will be okay...
