Hi stepford - where do you get this Skinfood product? Did you react to Lancome's UV Expert? Oh no, I just bought a tube. Lots of people recommended it to me. Have not tried it yet.

    Shangri-la Hotel

I found Stefii's more flexible than Dolly. Dolly refused to change anything for the centrepieces, even the shape of the glass. No, I didn't top up much. I got a good deal I think.

Hi faith, Mel only told us about this not too long before our dinner. Which ballroom are you using? I just took the most basic package. Food was good I believe (I didn't really have much of an appetite). Different from the usual wedding menus. I topped up just a bit for flowers. But i used...

Hi, I had a VW room for my wedding. You don't really need to walk back and forth 'cos I think they will give you a room next to the ballroom for you to use and change in (for my case anyway). So actually, I only had to walk from the room at the beginning and then after the dinner. Not that bad.

    Buying Diamond Ring

I think it's not so easy to find 0.99. Get a 0.9. Will already look quite big. Or else, get a 1.05 or something. Like what Hayashi says, 1.0 is a bit of a waste.

Oh yes, it would be useful to have one of those money belts you wear under your clothes to keep your most important document (your passport) and some money.

Hi Gothique, Your itinerary sounds a bit similar to mine. We also went to Rome, then Venice, then Florence. Just be very careful in Rome and you should be fine. I don't think it's a lot of violent crimes, more like petty pickpockets. In fact, my hubby almost got pickpocketed on the train...

I loved Venice. I took the most photos there. But then again, I went in winter so the crowds were down and so were the prices. We took the train up to Venice from Rome. Are you doing the same?

Wow, this forum is so active now. I must join in again! Gothique, I went to Italy for my honeymoon. What tips do you need? Are you going for the summer sales? Envious!

    Engagement Ring

Hi alya, I either don't wear it there at all, or leave it on. Won't take it out and leave it in the locker. Too risky.

Hi Auds, It was the same for me too. We also showed the slideshow before the 1st march-in and had an express highlights before the 2nd march-in. Our guests really loved it and I think they still remember it till now. There was lot of laughter. I think it's a way to entertain the guests between...

Hi Eileen, The following are just my opinion. Other brides, please feel free to correct me: 1. The name put down should be how the bride/groom are best known to their friends. If eg. nobody knows you by your dialect names, then I see no point in putting it down. 2. I would put it as only...

    Adelaide

Hi Connie, I went to Tasmania years and years ago, during my student days. It's colder than Adelaide, so if you're still planning on going in July, then there won't be strawberries or cherries either (they're summer fruits). Scenery is very nice. Lotsa driving though.

    Adelaide

Hi Connie, I think it may still be slightly chilly in September, though not as cold as July. I think strawberries are more summer fruits, so maybe November/ December is better. Best you check it out on a website or something. I'm just basing my recommendation on my memory. 'Cos I remember...
