You may wish to checkout Four Seasons, where my wedding lunch banquet will be held this Dec. The banquet is prepared from the chefs of their Cantonese restaurant, Jiang Nan Chun :) the food from the restaurant is great! Hopefully the banquet is as good too hehe

It will be better if you have a confirmed date, if not they can't advise you on their avalibility. Even so, things may crop up along the way and they may not be able to solemnise the wedding on your requested date. Do keep your fingers crossed! :) If you are holding your solemnisation outside...

Mine's is one real layer, the rest fake. I think not many will have the stomach space to eat the cake after the banquet, so I'll just use the "fake" wedding cake offered by the hotel hehe

my condolences to ur jiemeis' families. In my opinion, I'm sad to say this but preferably not. If I'm the jiemei, I won't be attending weddings too till one year later. U may wish to check with your parents and htb's parents. I know some dialects are very particular over 红白事。

You may wish to try Four Seasons. 32 is the max no. of tables for the Four Seasons Ballroom. But if it's between W or Hyatt, go for Hyatt. It's more convenient and accessible. If it happens to be a rainy day, guests won't want to travel to W. Just my opinion :)

My engagement ring is from Jann Paul (House of Hung @ Far East Shopping Centre). Look for Samuel if you are keen :) Haven't decide on where to get my wedding bands yet.

I think it's really up to you to do what u feel is most comfortable. My BS coordinator did suggest not to dye the hair too bright but I can't remember the reason he gave :)
