i just returned from a 27d honeymoon to germany, austria, prague. all free and easy. very relaxed and sometimes we even choose to sleep in til lunch time before heading out, or cook in our airbnb. its great to know your partner better too.

diamonds can be very expensive! my mother and I checked out a lot of jewellery stores in SG, and a diamond necklace can cost from 5k to 100k! OMG! i think gold is more affordable. plus has value and can pass on to children in the future.

I think most pastors would require u to either be a member of the church, or attend the church's marriage prep course. Advise to contact the pastors listed on the ROM website and seek their advise.

best is to check with your pastor. and usually a pastor from another church won't solemnize a member from another church. You can try JPs who are christians. not affiliated to any church kind.

wanted to go NZ for self drive too..but i'm not confident in hubby's skills..esp if the vehicle break down etc... and it'd be stressful if get lost, etc..so we changing honeymoon destination. haha

5-6 days, can go perth, HK, taiwan, bali. i don't think its worth the air tix to NZ..unless u've the extra cash to spare

Pastors are more than willing to officiate ur wedding outside a church venue. You'd need to first check if your pastor is a licensed JP to be able to officiate your wedding. I'm having a christian wedding at my banquet venue, not at a church, due to logistical reasons. PM me if u wanna know more. :)
