may i suggest if you are going to see glowworm, see the one at Waitomo.. better than Te Anau, definitely... if you take the Ruakuri Cave, u can also take photos of the glowworm in the cave (it is allowed)... South Island has lesser cars than North so I would suggest if you want a good break...
