Mine is OTR and now i'm getting very worried cos my wedding date has been brought forward by more than 1 yr. my plans on getting in shape is now kinda distorted...

Hi BTBs, my wedding just over. Am with Thomson Wedding Design. They hv quite a nice selection for +size brides. And their staff are very helpful. Everyone commented that my pix and gowns are very nice

Hi LiLi, can I check if that Thomson Wedding Design place also known as Thomson Wedding Collection? I am also a size 18 looking for a shop that at least have some OTR to try on/ see.

Yap they are both the same. They have now only 1 shop at Tanjong Pagar. I tried many gowns there..you can check them out..friendly staff will put you at ease :)

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate your reply. Have also mailed another bridal shop Jess Couture and they replied that they have many of those OTR to try on. Will go check them out as soon as I am ready... Still not much confident in myself to be able to try something on and that will look ok or even nice... :|
 
Anyone else have other recommendation for +size BTB? Which other bridal shops are to offer dresses for us?

Go for something flair at the bottom, corset-like on top. Mermaid cuts are a not recommended due to the slim fit cutting?
All my gowns were flair. and laced up from the back.

I'll be visiting Destino tomorrow too! Hope to be able to get to view some suitable gowns and really hope they will have Kua that can fit me. Am thinking to twist it a little to wear Kua on my AD instead.

The other that do have our size is Spozami, a few shop away from Destino..
Castalia also have.. limited but have, and much cheaper... few shops away too
 
My trip today to Destino was great! But I have not decided so I left without signing yet. They offered me the 5399 package too. Their dresses are pretty too. Love them!

DTJY, dont worry too much. my PG told me that photos can be edited i.e. arms can be slimmed but your facial expression can't. So remember, during your PS must really smile!! ;)

Dont worry, you get to have the final say for sure when it comes to editing. A good PG shld be able to advise you that there's a certain % to edit up till. Can ask ur PG to do a bfore and after sample for u to gauge? At least that's what my PG did for us. Don't worry about the smile. Looking natural is very impt! remember to have good night rest the day before too! :)

Hi! i've a plus size gown to sell....princess cut :)

Never worn before...perfectly BRAND NEW...came in a little too wide for me....

Selling at $70....good for photoshoot....will throw in freebies as well....

Bust: 90cm (can alter to 87cm - 97cm)
Waist: 77cm (can fit 73cm - 82cm)

i'm 160cm tall and it falls perfectly 1 inch above the ground....

Do note that picture of model is NOT plus size....but the gown I bought is....

Dear all BTBs... I am looking for a good MUA for my AD... Hope to find someone can do very nice hair & make up! Not those old fashion type preferably... hehe
 
Ladies, I am a plus size bride too...I got married in 2012 and i managed to get my wedding gown and evening gown OTR... my package is with Thomson Wedding and they are very helpful to help me get the gown i love... my actual day gown is a very simple gown... so dun worry too much and just go and try out...

Hi All, I am new to this sg bride forum and also is about to start my wedd prep... being plus size, I am really stress and worried that i cant find gowns that fits and dont look good in the photoshoot.... :(
Gathered from this thread that the following BS carry plus size gowns - Jess Coulture, Thomson bridal, few of the JB BS like destino, spozami and castalia... Any others for consideration?
