Held my wedding at Copthorne king’s with respect to the current restrictions.
A special thanks to Miss Danice for her ever forthcoming help to us as wedding couples and always addressing our issues and assuring us things are under control with her actions and not paying lip service which was a very important point. The wedding was smooth sailing throughout and the food was lip smacking good as told to me by my guests.
Next My wife and I would like to thank uncle Joseph who was our banquet manager for using his experiences to ensure everything was in place such as the AV setup and the food serving process was on time and assisted my “brothers” to ensure they were able to do their stuffs to ensure there were no dull moments for my guests. Any last min inputs was also settled promptly without any hiccups. Our butler Lim was also on hand to attend to our needs such as food delivery and other miscellaneous stuffs.
Lastly, kudos to all the staff (uncles and aunties) under Joseph were very prompt in their services and making sure plates were cleared and food were served piping hot.
Highly recommended to all wedding couples looking at holding their wedding here.
My family had just held an wedding reception at the hotel. It is one of the best decisions that we had made. Wedding planning process - Danice, the event coordinator, was always contactable, and ever so patient to answer our queries. This is especially reassuring considering the Covid situation where there are alot of uncertainties. We had made several changes along the way due to the evolving situation and Danice was always quick to respond. On the wedding day, she was always present to provide the best service that she could, and briefing us on the process flow as well. Wedding day banquet coordinator - definitely have to give a huge shout-out to Lim and Desmond. Lim was providing top-notch service from the beginning till the end of the banquet. He helped to set up the room for the tea ceremony and answered to every requests from everyone positively. We ordered egg tarts for the Tea ceremony and he took the initiative to place them on a three tiered stand for food presentation. In addition, the sweet tea and tea set was prepared for the ceremony which was a pleasant surprise for us. He was also meticulous and attentive to our needs. When some of our guests arrived early for the tea ceremony, he immediately served the egg tarts even though it was set to be served much later. It was heartwarming that he took care of the wedding couple's needs till beyond the banquet. He informed the couple to call him after their rest at the preparation room in order to send them off at the first floor. It was already going 11pm. Even our guests sang praises about him, noting his great service. As the banquet coordinator, Desmond was calm and provided great guidance to us in ensuring a smooth flow of the programme. He taught our AV Coordinator on how to operate the systems patiently and gave us a few dry-runs before the wedding so we can familiarise with the procedure. Thanks to him, the wedding went smoothly with everything happening at the right moment. He also gave good advices and tips to us for ensuring that our guests were in best hands. One thing that really highlighted his efficiency was his quick response to our impromptu request to add a vegetarian meal for a guest. We thought it was impossible but he and the team managed to do it for us, and our guest was able to have a full course meal with everyone. Hotel staff and servers - great service and attitude from everyone. They greeted us with smiles and ever so polite. I don't recall meeting any of their staff that showed 'black face' or bad attitude. From the person who checked in the guests to the food servers, they were always smiling and courteous. Tien Court Restaurant and food - My family are already arranging when to return to the restaurant for a meal. The seafood such as prawns, scallops and cod fish were fresh and succulent. It was most important to us if the food was suitable for the elderly. We are glad to see our VIPs finished all the food till the last course. Feedback from our guests are that the food was great too. We specially ordered some egg tarts for our guests for the tea ceremony and they commended that it was one of the best egg tarts they had tried. Definitely coming back to the restaurant to try their dim sum and signature dishes :) also shout-out to the front-table reception staff of the restaurant who took our order of the egg tarts before the wedding, very helpful to arrange a good time for the egg tarts to be served and explaining their menu and additional menu. Sorry for such lengthy review but I truly believe that they deserved it. My parents are still praising the hotel now even though the wedding day is over haha! For people looking for wedding banquet venues, do consider Copthorne King. You will be in good hands with the team that had shown us top-notch professionalism, excellent service, with no loss of human touch and sincerity. “I had my most wonderful big wedding day celebrated at Kings. I would like to personally thanks the Catering Sales Manager who was assigned to us, Danice. Despite her busy schedule every time we met up for discussion, she handled us professionally. Service was awesome. During some of the planning discussions, there's definitely have some hiccups but she managed to resolve it immediately. Throughout this few months of meeting her, it makes me not just meeting her as a Manager but a friend. I would like to thanks her for this few months. I also like to thanks Copthorne King's service during the wedding banquet. My big day was a success!”

A big thank you to the hotel staff and wedding coordinator Ivan Tan! We recently had our wedding on 18 March and Ivan was with us all the way. Making aure everything is smooth and no hiccups. Even the pre and post wedding service was superb. According to friends, food was fantastic as well! So another big thank you to Chef Ho!
We just held our wedding at the hotel in February 17 and our coordinator was Ivan. He was one of the very few coordinators whom we felt really comfortable with. We booked the venue one year in advance and he was very attentive, sincere, patient, efficient to all our needs and has never failed to answer our enquiries promptly from the beginning to the end of preparation. We were honoured to have him personally there during our wedding night and I think the entire team has done a very good job in making sure the banquet runs smoothly. Ivan understands the needs of the couple and made sure that no stressed was given to the bride on the wedding night itself and that was probably why I have enjoyed the banquet. In fact it was the most enjoyable and relaxing part of the wedding day!
I was worried that there wasn't enough time for me to change to my 3rd outfit but Ivan remembered it, keep track of the time really well, to make sure that I was able to change.
The food was awesome! quality was not affected despite the demand in quantity on that night and we have also received positive feedbacks from our guests that dinner was very filling. Chef Ho was part of the reason why we chose Copthorne King Hotel and indeed, we did not regret choosing.
Post wedding service from both the hotel and Ivan was as good as pre wedding period and therefore we are glad that we have chosen this hotel for our wedding. We would like to Thank Ivan once again for making our wedding night so successful and memorable for us :)
