He found out that I was the bride\u2019s sister and was told that it was forbidden to date me because firstly, I was the bride\u2019s sister, and secondly, that I was attached. Funnily, I was still single at that time. Eventually I found out about him enquiring about me and decided to add him as a friend on Facebook. We then hung out on a few occasions and eventually got to know each other. <\/p><p><b><b>What made you fall in love with your partner? <\/b><\/b><\/p><p><i>Vivegan: <\/i>Can\u2019t put my finger on a single thing. It\u2019s just like a magnet pulled me to her and love just grew stronger the more we met up. I love her understanding and caring nature the most. <\/p><p><i>Sheena:<\/i> I knew he was the one when falling in love and being in love felt natural and easygoing. It\u2019s love when the word &#8220;home&#8221; became more of him than a place to me. The proposal completely caught me offguard when it happened and it was unforgettable! <\/p><p><b><b>Did COVID-19 affect your wedding plans? <\/b><\/b><\/p><p><i>Vivegan: <\/i>Yes it did as both of our families are big and the original guest list was thrice the 100-pax limit. We also had to postpone the date to revise our plans. Even though we had to downscale our wedding in terms of the numbers, nothing else was downscaled. We just found solutions and worked through it. Was &#8220;floral&#8221; your wedding theme? <\/b><\/b><\/p><p><i>Sheena:<\/i> We didn&#8217;t really have a theme but we had some colours in mind.. we spoke to Daryl from Bloomen who helped to weave together a colour palette for us, mainly bright autumn colours. He then worked together with our venue planner, 1-Host from 1-Altitude to create the whole wedding look. The eventual result was beyond our expectations, and everyone fell in love with it. <\/p><p><i>Vivegan: <\/i>All we wanted was florals and for it to be bright and colourful while having some pastel tones in it to complement both of our personalities (I love the bold and loud while Sheena loves muted and subtle tones). My suit was a fantastic job done by Flamingo Suits! Special thanks to Marcus.<\/p><p><i>Sheena:<\/i> Both of us love to travel so we decided to decorate the reception table ourselves with a world globe, our travel photos, and also a guestbook alternative of postcards of places in our bucketlist for our guests to write on. We also had a photo wall area with a customised neon light of our favourite song lyric from Coldplay.
