To mark International Women&#8217;s Day on 8 March 2021, the shoot celebrates the beauty, strength, achievements, and individuality of all women. <\/p><p>Conceptualised by Blush House Bridal, the styled shoot features eight inspiring women. &#8220;We invited eight beautiful ladies with infectious energy, courage, tenacity, and passion to model for this campaign,&#8221; shares Sheena, the founder of the bridal boutique. They were styled in bohemian gowns to evoke a sense of wonder and whimsy. &#8220;The gowns selected for each of them reflects their personality and style. Lace and light-as-air fabrics combine to create simple silhouettes that flatter and accentuates natural curves.&#8221; <\/p><div class=\"banner\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">OA_show(5);<\/script><\/div><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/international-womens-day-styled-shoot-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><p>Each lady&#8217;s look was completed by Autelier Hair &#038; Makeup. &#8220;As a team of ladies who advocate women\u2019s independence and achievements themselves, we were honoured to participate in this shoot,&#8221; they share. Each look was customised not only to fit the concept, but also to accentuate the beautiful features of each individual model.&#8221;<\/p><p>The shoot was set in Autelier Loft, and the set was styled in the colours that have symbolised International Women&#8217;s Day since 1908, with purple to represent justice and dignity, green for hope, and white for purity. The floral arrangements by <a href=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/d\/elly-sera\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Elly Sera Florist<\/a> added a touch of pastel pink and peach that accentuated the women&#8217;s feminine grace. <\/p><p>The models&#8217; individuality as well as unity as women were beautifully captured by <a href=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/d\/antelope-studios\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Antelope Studios<\/a>. &#8220;Having eight remarkable women together in a photograph was indeed stressful for me,&#8221; says photographer Bryan. &#8220;But because they are already amazing in their own ways, all I needed to do was to convey my vision to them. Seeing brides rock their gowns down the aisle in my gown sparks joy for me!<\/p><p><b><b>What is one motto you live by?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>Don&#8217;t let your dreams scare you. Whatever you do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.<\/p><h3>Tay Ying, Actress<\/h3><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/international-womens-day-styled-shoot-07.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><p><b><b>What did you dream of doing when you were a little girl?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>I have always been an adventurous girl, and since I was little, I&#8217;ve always been open to exploring new things. Back then, even though I didn&#8217;t know what I wanted to be when I grew up, I knew for sure that I wanted to always pursue what I loved. True enough, years later I found my love in acting and eventually decided to pursue it! <\/p><p><b><b>What is your proudest accomplishment to date? <\/b><\/b><\/p><p>I would say it is surviving my trainee programme in Shanghai back in 2019. I was struggling mentally and physically then, but I\u2019m glad I came out stronger.<\/p><p><b><b>What is one motto you live by?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>To always keep trying and moving forward; your perseverance and hard work will eventually take you somewhere.<\/p><h3>Hazelle Teo, Mediacorp YES 933 radio DJ, host, actress and dancer<\/h3><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/international-womens-day-styled-shoot-06.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><p><b><b>What did you dream of doing when you were a little girl?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>As a little girl, I really wanted to be a pop singer. But I\u2019m so happy that didn\u2019t work out because\u2026 have you heard me sing? HA. As a teenager, I knew I really wanted to enter the entertainment industry. It must be due to all the Taiwanese dramas I watched. Eventually though, I entered a DJ competition and became a radio jock instead of the actress I envisioned myself to be. Interestingly, this is the best surprise life has given me. I love where I am right now!<\/p><p><b><b>What is your proudest accomplishment to date?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>For a local artiste, I guess being nominated for the annual Star Awards ceremony is a huge deal! It is recognition (from a professional panel of judges, no less!) of all the hard work put into my craft. I am very blessed to have been nominated for Best Newcomer back in 2018, and Best Radio Programme for this year\u2019s coming awards! I am proud because of the smiles it put on my parents\u2019 faces. That is one moment I\u2019ll never forget.<\/p><p><b><b>What is one motto you live by?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>If I were entirely honest, it\u2019s &#8220;Fake it till you make it.&#8221; Some may find this negative, untruthful even. But for me, I look at this in terms of confidence. As a host, standing on a stage facing an audience of tens of thousands, I have to be confident even as my fingers are trembling. It&#8217;s tried and tested: when I tell myself to &#8220;Fake some confidence&#8221;, I really end up feeling more assured in myself, and proceed to slay the stage. It\u2019s a weird mental process, but try this next time you&#8217;re feeling unsure! It works on sadness as well; just force a wide smile and you\u2019ll really end up feeling better!&#8221;<\/p><h3>Poojaa Gill, Asia\u2019s Next Top Model (representing Singapore), Financial Broker<\/h3><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/international-womens-day-styled-shoot-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><p><b><b>What did you dream of doing when you were a little girl?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>When I was little, I dreamt of becoming a news anchor. <\/p><p><b><b>What is your proudest accomplishment to date?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>My proudest accomplishment to date is the opportunity to represent my country in both track and field and pageantry.
