Intimate, cosy, and simple – the three words Kristine and Sean wanted to encapsulate their white wedding at Botanico at The Garage<\/a> with their family and friends. <\/i><\/p>

A<\/b>s simple individuals themselves, Kristine Lew, 32, and Sean Koh, 43, knew right from the start how they envision their wedding to be like: intimate, cosy, and of course, simple. To celebrate their love, they held a white wedding at Botanico at The Garage<\/a> which proved memorable and fun even up till today for many of their closest family and friends who had joined in on the festivities.<\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

Share your story with us. How did the two of you meet and how did you fall in love?<\/p><\/b><\/b><\/p>

Both:<\/i> We were introduced to each other through a mutual friend who is also Kristine\u2019s godmother. It didn\u2019t take long for us to fall in love as we realised that we are both perfect for each other. We are both very simple people and we love keeping things simple and genuine.Over the years, we loved each other and supported each other by constantly being intentional to stay present in the moment and attentive to one another\u2019s needs. Fun fact, we also didn\u2019t have a proposal! We just knew that our shared end goal was to get married but at the same time, we wanted to keep things simple and sweet which meant not going through the trouble of a proposal. <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

Where did you decide to have your wedding at and why did you choose it?<\/p><\/b><\/b><\/p>

Both:<\/i> We wanted to have a small and intimate wedding event to celebrate our union with our mutual friends and family. We ended up deciding to hold it at Botanico at The Garage for a Western fine-dining experience. Keeping to our personalities, we preferred for the decorations to be kept more natural so we easily decided for a white and neutral theme with the use of real flowers everywhere. <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

What was your wedding planning journey like? Were there any challenges or funny moments?<\/p><\/b><\/b><\/p>

Both:<\/i> Because we chose to keep our wedding small, we did not encounter many issues while we were planning it. The only problem was COVID-19 which led to a couple of friends not being able to attend the event. We are definitely quite lucky to have held our wedding before the Circuit Breaker period though! <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

Take us back to your wedding day. What was it like and how did you feel?<\/p><\/b><\/b><\/p>

Both:<\/i> We are fortunate to have an experienced emcee who also doubled up as an event supervisor. This helped so much and the wedding proceeded on smoothly without any hiccups or glitches. Many of our friends and family also enjoyed themselves. They mentioned how that it\u2019s very unlike a typical Chinese wedding and they could truly enjoy the food and the socialising. <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

What\u2019s your favourite and most memorable moment of your wedding? <\/p><\/b><\/b><\/p>

Both:<\/i> It was definitely the shoe game that the emcee planned for us!<\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

What is one lesson you\u2019ve learned from your wedding planning that you\u2019d like to share with other couples?<\/p><\/b><\/b><\/p>

Both:<\/i> Communication with each other is key to planning a meaningful event. And of course, remember to always keep it simple! <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"
