Couples wasted no time in seating themselves around the T-shaped runway in the middle of the spacious ballroom, where brides-to-be were able to take a close-up look at the boutique\u2019s latest collection.<\/p><div class=\"banner\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">OA_show(5);<\/script><\/div><p>Fion, Founder of The Louvre Bridal, explained that the runway show was segregated into three distinct segments; first up was \u201cThe Secret Garden\u201d, followed by \u201cMasquerade\u201d, ending with \u201cHigh Fashion\u201d, presenting a collection of versatile looks for brides.<\/p><p>The Secret Garden was characterised by sweetheart necklines and crystal-embellished bodices, the most popular wedding gown design currently. The show opener was a high-waisted ballgown with tulle overlays. The heart-shaped neckline was extended with tulle straps to create a V, which elongates the neck, and is a more demure approach for brides who prefer not to wear a strapless gown. The opening gown also has one of the longest trains in the collection, and made for a gorgeous exit.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  alt=\"Be Artfully Different With The Louvre Bridal\" src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Louvre-2-e1375872042706.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  alt=\"Be Artfully Different With The Louvre Bridal\" src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Louvre-4-e1375872115739.jpg\" \/><p>The next gown was a beautiful strapless number with a softer silhouette. Apart from the crystal beading at the bodice, the lower part of the gown was also embroidered with floral lace designs. Brides who are looking for something more photogenic for the photographs could also choose the gown with the tufted tulle ballgown, or the very sexy trumpet skirt that accentuates the curves of the body. This collection is for the bride who loves pretty things.<\/p><p>The Masquerade was dark, mysterious and all about colours. The models walked down the runway with floral masks painstakingly handmade by the team at The Louvre Bridal, which went very well with the mood and look of this collection. Eyebrows were raised when The Louvre Bridal surprised the audience with the first black evening gown of the day. The designers made a bold move to incorporate a high-low, lantern-shaped skirt design for the contemporary bride. With sparkly crystals set against the black dress and a halter-neck neckline, this dress is formal enough for the evening.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  alt=\"Be Artfully Different With The Louvre Bridal\" src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Louvre-1-e1375872162610.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  alt=\"Be Artfully Different With The Louvre Bridal\" src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Louvre-6-e1375872204851.jpg\" \/><p>Blush was the next colour of the day. Brides who do not want a pure white wedding dress or too bold an evening colour can choose this versatile hue, and it complements the Asian skin tone well. The audience was enthralled by the way the dreamy layered tulle of the skirt floated up and down the runway. Also in the collection were a sexy deep V-neck goddess gown as well as fairy-like princess ballgowns.<\/p><p>The last segment was the highlight for The Louvre Bridal, showcasing their signature looks for 2014. Named \u201cHigh Fashion\u201d, this collection is inspired by the boutique\u2019s namesake, the Mus\u00e9e du Louvre in Paris. There were bold silhouettes in this collection, such as the first look out, which had a neatly-pleated bodice contrasted with a tufted tulle skirt cut closer to the body than usual.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  alt=\"Be Artfully Different With The Louvre Bridal\" src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Louvre-5-e1375872261781.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  alt=\"Be Artfully Different With The Louvre Bridal\" src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Louvre-3-e1375872292321.jpg\" \/><p>Another artful design was the peplum\u2014the next dress featured a peplum that was longer than most, to replace the skirt, with a see-through underlay with gold trim that also acts as a train for the bridal look.
