It\u2019s also a great way to build rapport with your <a href=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/2018\/09\/wedding-photography-singapore-prices\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">photographer<\/a> before your wedding day, if you are engaging the same one.<\/p><p>With so much at stake (including your wallet), you want your pre-wedding shoot to go well. We\u2019ve got some very practical pre-wedding shoot tips for you, whether you\u2019re shooting indoors or outdoors, in Singapore or overseas!<\/p><div class=\"banner\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">OA_show(5);<\/script><\/div><h3>Beauty Prep<\/h3><p><b><b>1.Schedule your facials.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>Plan to have your facial sessions two weeks in advance of your pre-wedding shoot date so that you don&#8217;t have unsightly red spots or other scars during your shoot. Don\u2019t try a new product or procedure either, in case you get an unexpected allergic reaction that doesn\u2019t resolve in time.<\/p><p><b><b>2.Avoid bloat.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>The day before your shoot, don&#8217;t eat too much salt to avoid bloating and a puffy face. Stay hydrated, which will help flush toxins and give your skin a healthy glow.<\/p><p><b><b>3.Get a good night\u2019s sleep.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>They don\u2019t call it beauty sleep for nothing. Avoid dark circles or tired skin by getting at least eight hours of sleep in the days leading up to your shoot.<\/p><p><b><b>4.Don\u2019t condition your hair.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>Ironically, soft and silky hair doesn\u2019t look good in photos, because it\u2019s difficult to style, and doesn\u2019t hold its shape. The night and morning before your shoot, skip the conditioner and any hair serums. Remember to wear nude, seamless underwear as well. You\u2019ll both be glad of portable fans when you\u2019re trying to smile under the hot sun in your big wedding gown and three-piece suit!<\/p><p><b><b>12.Hydrate.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>Bring along bottles of water or cold drinks so you stay hydrated during your long day, especially if you\u2019re shooting in parks or forests where you won\u2019t be able to purchase drinks.<\/p><p><b><b>13.Pack an easy change of clothes.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>Select an outfit that\u2019s easy to change into and out of that you can wear when you break for lunch, such as button-on tops or slip on shorts, so that you can change quickly and discreetly in a car if you have to.<\/p><p><b><b>14.Bring a cosmetic touch-up.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>If your makeup artist isn\u2019t following you around during your shoot, pack some tissues for blotting sweat and oil off your face, and your lipstick in case you need a touch up.
