It was a bunch of people on a casual night out over beer and bar food. Afterwards, we became hi-bye acquaintances. It is my favorite destination in the world. I took a two-week solo trip there back in 2016, it was where we first travelled together as a couple, and being half-Indonesian, it&#8217;s also &#8220;home-ground&#8221; for me. We don&#8217;t have the wedding planned out yet, but we&#8217;re hoping to hold it there too. I don&#8217;t remember much of the proposal but after I said yes, he played me a video where five of my closest friends recorded individual congratulatory messages. This was really meaningful because these are my ride-or-die friends. With most of them being overseas, we don&#8217;t get to see each other as often as we&#8217;d like to. She pretty much spearheaded the whole shoot and we were just lucky enough to be part of the process. She really wanted to challenge the popular notion that the sunlight is &#8220;too harsh&#8221; in Singapore and Singaporeans can&#8217;t get soft, bright, and airy pictures locally.
