Choose crepe paper in your wedding colours to tie into your wedding theme.<\/p><div class=\"banner\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">OA_show(5);<\/script><\/div><p><b><b>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need<\/b><\/b><\/p><ul><li>Cardboard box<\/li><li>Crepe or tissue paper in different colours<\/li><li>Coloured paper<\/li><li>Scissors<\/li><li>Glue<\/li><li>Ruler<\/li><li>Penknife<\/li><\/ul><p>Time taken: 20 minutes<\/p><p>Average cost: $5<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/DIY-ang-pow-box-weddings.jpg\" alt=\"DIY ang pow box weddings\" \/><p><b><b>DIY STEPS<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>1.Draw a slot for the ang baos in the middle of your cardboard box\u2019s top side. Make it about 10 to 14 cm long, and at least 2 mm wide. Cut out the slot using a metal ruler and a penknife.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/DIY-ang-pow-box.jpg\" alt=\"DIY ang pow box\" \/><p>2.Cut your coloured crepe paper into 1-inch wide strips, then cut fringe along one edge.<\/p>  <p><i>Tip! Crepe paper usually comes folded into its packet. Just cut off 1 inch from the roll for a really long strip.
