For style and elegance, Glenda came to the right bridal couture design house. She presented Michelle HuiMin with a simple design brief for her wedding gown. \u201cI remember telling Michelle that I wanted a gown which would allow me to move around easily \u2013 glide gracefully across the room without snagging on anything,\u201d shares Glenda. \u201cAlso, I needed the gown to be conservative and respectful for the elders yet fun and sexy for the evening. That was as far as my brief went for Michelle, and she came up with the rest of the design.\u201d<\/p><p>Based on that short brief, Michelle then came up with a figure-hugging wedding gown that would sheath Glenda\u2019s slender frame with sophistication and poise, yet allow her the freedom to dance on her special night. \u201cMichelle envisioned a figure-hugging gown with French lace and a dramatic train which could be cinched up for when I\u2019m moving around,\u201d remembers Glenda. \u201cAnd the bolero to cover my shoulders out of respect for the older folks.\u201d<\/p><p>The finished dress was stunning. \u201cI love my wedding gown,\u201d says the happy bride. \u201cIt was simple, sleek and had a touch of drama thrown in for good measure. It was also pretty eye-catching cinched up. He tied the knot in a suit designed by Colin of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bridalveilonline.com\/grooms\/\">The Men\u2019s Club<\/a>, who Justin confesses faced a big challenge with Justin\u2019s penchant for camouflage fashions when designing his suit.<\/p><p>\u201cI am just a total redneck,\u201d Justin laughs when asked about his personal style and how Colin&#8217;s design reflected it. \u201cI think anything in camo immediately makes that particular thing cooler. So it was quite a big challenge for Colin. I think he realised how deep he was in it when he asked me, \u2018What do you want to wear on your neck?\u2019 and I replied, without a hint of irony, \u2018A maori fish hook necklace.\u2019\u201d Justin soon realised tribal accessories were not what Colin was referring to at all. \u201cThis was followed by Colin trying to explain the differences between a tie and bow tie while trying not to disintegrate into laughter,\u201d he remembers about the whole suit designing experience.<\/p><p>\u201cThe poor guy,\u201d he continues. \u201cHe had to draw the differences between collar types, and gently dissuade me from having a black stripe down the side of my pants.\u201d Besides the gentle guidance on suit design, Colin also recommended a smart three-piece suit for Justin. \u201cOne particularly beneficial advice was the addition of a waistcoat,&#8221; shares Justin. \u201cFor grooms out there who are getting a little &#8220;fappy&#8221; (fat + happy), GET. A. WAISTCOAT. It\u2019s like real world photoshop.\u201d<\/p><p>Whether the actual wedding day photos were edited or not, Justin certainly looked good in his three-piece suit. His verdict on the charcoal suit with its black accented lapels and clean lines: \u201cDespite my best efforts, I think Colin nailed my style down.
