It wasn\u2019t the first question he asked that day though, but it was the one he got on one knee while doing so. We had just touched down on the island and was exploring the place in our rented car close to sunset when we had to make our way back as we wanted to watch our first sunset in Santorini on the balcony of our little room. I noticed that he was in a rush and breathing heavily, but he insisted that he was just concerned about getting back in time. Back at our room, with time to spare until the sun sets, Tim suddenly asked if he needed my parents\u2019 permission to marry me. After I said no, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, even though he had already asked my parents for my hand in marriage!<\/p><p>But the sweetest thing he did was to ask our closest friends to send congratulatory videos and compiled it for my viewing after I accepted his proposal. That\u2019s one extremely happening wedding if I may say so! Pray, tell!<\/b><\/b><\/p><p><i>Sabrina:<\/i> We initially wanted an intimate gathering of family and close friends to celebrate our union, but the invite list continued growing as everyone wanted to share in our joy. So, we decided to split the events up so we could accommodate more people.<\/p><p>We picked the Armenian Church for our solemnisation as its cosy setting, beautiful architecture and long-standing history provided the perfect backdrop for an intimate church service with our immediate family and closest friends. The day was made even more special as we were married by Tim\u2019s childhood pastor, who shared little anecdotes of Tim growing up. We gave out purple hand-held fans as we knew it would be hot as the church is not air-conditioned.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tim-Sabrina-You-Found-Me-26.jpg\" alt=\"Tim &amp; Sabrina - You Found Me 57\" \/><p><i>Sabrina:<\/i> That same evening, we threw a small dinner for our closest friends at Brazil Churrasco. It was the perfect venue to celebrate our love for meat, have fun and enjoy each other\u2019s company. The incredibly creative Kim Tan and a group of friends decorated the place with reused flowers from the morning church service, switching in pennants for chairs and suggested naming the tables something personal, such as \u201cFormer Air-heads\u201d for former DJs, \u201cThe Noose meets Gossip Girl\u201d for my colleagues from Channel NewsAsia and \u201cVery Important Parents\u201d. Everyone was extremely comfortable that night, catching up with one another, mingling, making new friends and of course, feasting! They also walked away with super yummy macarons made by our friend, Cindy!<\/p><p>To wrap up the celebrations, we held a banquet dinner at Singapore Island Country Club, as a more formal celebration for our extended families, family friends and colleages. Even though this was a more traditional celebration and setting, we personalised the event by having Yasminne Cheng from Class 95FM as our emcee and our close friends Wayne Sandz and Kelvin Wong and Arron Jardin from Tabula to play our march-in song and the musical entertainment that night. And for our last wedding favour, we gave our guests Bonne Maman Honey in bottles with witty labels like \u201cSpread the Love\u201d and \u201cMeant to Bee\u201d that were customised with our logo by Do Me A Favor.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tim-Sabrina-You-Found-Me-58.jpg\" alt=\"Tim &amp; Everyone must have had only good things to say about the celebrations.<\/b><\/b><\/p><p><i>Tim: <\/i>It was really important that everyone had a good time, and they did! Each and every one of our guest means a lot to us, so we wanted to celebrate their support of our union as much as they were there to celebrate us. Plus, get TV news people and Radio folks together in the same room and you\u2019re guaranteed a blast!<\/p><p><b><b>Looking back, were there any moments during your wedding that were especially memorable or special to you?<\/b><\/b><\/p><p><i>Sabrina: <\/i>For me, it was the moment Pastor Freddie pronounced us husband and wife. It was a surreal moment, the one we were prepping months for and it finally happened. And, I got to kiss my man. But equally memorable were these moments: when Tim whipped out his camera for a selfie in the middle of the church ceremony, to my grandmother tearing at the sight of me walking down the aisle to the touching speeches from Yasminne and my bridesmaid and best friend, Olivia.<\/p><p><i>Tim: <\/i>Seeing Sabrina in her gown took my breath away. She insisted that her gown be kept a secret from me until she walked down the aisle, so I made an effort not to look at the wedding car and lowered my eyes as I passed by the car. And it was all worth it. She looked stunning. To date, she has taken my breath away three times: when I met her, when she said yes to my proposal and when she walked down that aisle towards me.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tim-Sabrina-You-Found-Me-83.jpg\" alt=\"Tim &amp;
