Big and whimsical, these lovely handmade flowers are adorable in the hands of your flower-girls, bridesmaids, or make beautiful table centerpieces to help love bloom at your wedding.<\/p><div class=\"banner\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">OA_show(5);<\/script><\/div><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Giant-Paper-Flower-DIY-3.jpg\" alt=\"Giant Paper Flower DIY 3\" \/><p><b><b>You\u2019ll need:<\/b><\/b><\/p><ul><li>Coloured crepe paper<\/li><li>Large floral stem<\/li><li>Clear tape or floral tape<\/li><li>Glue<\/li><li>Scissors<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/giant-paper-flower-diy-by-SingaporeBrides.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Giant Paper Flower Template by SingaporeBrides\" rel=\"noopener\">Petal template<\/a><\/li><\/ul><p>Time taken each: 30 minutes<\/p><p>Average cost each: $3<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Giant-Paper-Flower-DIY-1.jpg\" alt=\"Giant Paper Flower DIY 1\" \/><p>Step 1: Cut out a strip of crepe paper about 10 inches long and 2 inches wide. We chose gold to make a nice contrast against our lilac petals. Fold it and cut strips down half the width.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Giant-Paper-Flower-DIY-5.jpg\" alt=\"Giant Paper Flower DIY 5\" \/><p>Step 2: Apply glue to one end of the strip, and wrap around the floral stem. Glue to secure in place.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Giant-Paper-Flower-DIY-10.jpg\" alt=\"Giant Paper Flower DIY 10\" \/><p>Step 3: Print and cut out the <a href=\"http:\/\/articles.cdn.singaporebrides.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/giant-paper-flower-diy-by-SingaporeBrides.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">petal templates<\/a>. Using the template as a guide, cut out petals from your crepe paper. We used gold crepe paper to cut out three small petals and lilac to cut out about 15 each of both sizes.<\/p><p><i>Tip:<\/i> Folding the crepe paper in accordion folds first allows you to cut multiple petals at a time!<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Giant-Paper-Flower-DIY-9.jpg\" alt=\"Giant Paper Flower DIY 9\" \/><p>Step 4: Wrap three gold petals around the flower\u2019s center and tape to secure.<\/p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"http:\/\/singaporebrides.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Giant-Paper-Flower-DIY-7.jpg\" alt=\"Giant Paper Flower DIY 7\" \/><p>Step 5: Wrap on a few layers of the medium petals, taping to secure each petal.
