They remained as friends for the next two to three years before they started noticing each other and exchanging messages and phone calls privately. Tell us more!<\/b><\/b><\/p><p>He proposed during our trip to Hong Kong approximately 2 years after we started dating. Although we were starting to plan for the future, I was completely taken aback by the surprise proposal since our trip was meant to be our graduation trip! Since it was by the beach, we decided on a garden and beach theme for the day. As a DIY bride, all the decorations, candy bar setup and cupcake stand were handmade by me. Even the planning for our solemnisation was done by me.<\/p><p>The actual day turned out perfect, except for the heavy downpour in the afternoon and the regrettable but unavoidable decision to move the initially outdoor solemnisation indoor. Dr Phua Tan Tee was our solemniser for the day, and he was a perfect choice. Most of them even commented that they didn\u2019t know a place that beautiful existed in Singapore!
