Hui Ming and Zi Han’s nuptials at Capella Singapore was a beautiful and sophisticated affair amidst soft, pastel blooms.<\/i><\/p>

H<\/b>ui Ming, 33, and Zi Han, 36, first met through mutual friends. But after they discovered how easy it was to be themselves in each other’s company and talk about anything under the sun, sparks flew and love blossomed. The lovebirds tied the knot and celebrated their union in an elegant affair at Capella Singapore, with pops of sweet, pastel blooms amidst ethereal blue florals, surrounded by their family and friends.<\/p>

Hui Ming<\/i>: His loyalty and generosity, but mostly how he makes me feel so seen and understood. <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

What was the proposal like?<\/b><\/b><\/p>

Hui Ming<\/i>: It was a cosy surprise with our two cats. It was truly amazing how long he kept it a surprise and how he put up all the decorations by himself. <\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

Tell us about your wedding. Where was your wedding venue? Did you have a wedding theme?<\/b><\/b><\/p>

Hui Ming<\/I>: We got married at Capella Singapore. We didn’t really have a wedding theme in mind, but there were certain elements that we wanted in the wedding. We shared them with Liz from Liz Florals, but we really left it up to Liz and her creativity for the most part. The results were gorgeous, and we were so pleased when our guests took the flowers home after the celebration.<\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

What was the day like and how were you feeling?<\/b><\/b><\/p>

Hui Ming<\/I>: It was quite overwhelming but we were just so happy to see all our loved ones in one place celebrating the day with us. Everyone had a really fun time, and they had nothing but compliments for the food, games and decoration.<\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

Hui Ming<\/i>: It was definitely during our first look where we got some time alone with each other.<\/p>\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"

What is one lesson you\u2019ve learned from your wedding planning that you\u2019d like to share with other couples?<\/b><\/b><\/p>

Hui Ming<\/i>: Do engage a planner if you can. We didn\u2019t and we felt that having one could have made the planning process smoother and less overwhelming on the day itself. <\/p>
