The Happily Ever After Hotel Fort Canning wedding show revealed gorgeous intimate outdoor solemnisation venues and breath-taking new wedding themes for 2017.

A romantic scene welcomed couples to the Hotel Fort Canning wedding showcase on Sunday, 20 November 2016. A lush floral arch and a delicate flower petal arch created an elegant setting for forty guests on the Fountain Terrace, framed by the lush greenery and imposing colonial façade of the hotel. The charming wedding set-up was just one of seven outdoor wedding venues revealed at the Hotel Fort Canning Weddings in the Park showcase.

The award-winning boutique hotel was abuzz with couples touring its 18 hectares of lush greenery and luxurious amenities. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, Hotel Fort Canning offers an idyllic escape with stunning views of the park. The verdant landscaping and exquisite gardens create charming wedding venues, accented with carefully curated themes.

Twinkling with romantic fairy lights under the open sky, the Garden Terrace is a magical setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony of up to 100 guests. After your family and friends witness your exchange of vows against a backdrop of greenery and colonial edifice, you could proceed to a celebratory banquet in the Grand Marquee on the same level. A stunning venue that brings the outdoors into its air-conditioned comfort, the Grand Marquee was dressed in the Secret Garden theme during the showcase, in a classic and vibrant palette of blush, cream, and green. Birdsong filled the air to complete the ethereal setting in Singapore’s largest air-conditioned marquee, which can seat up to 500 guests.

For more intimate solemnisations, Tisettanta Terrace is a charming venue with a garden setting. Poolside venues such as the Sun Deck were also showcased during the Hotel Fort Canning wedding show, with bright and colourful themes highlighting the lush views of the park and the serene blue of the mineral water pools. Indoor wedding venues highlight the hotel’s unique park setting with full-length glass windows that create a beautiful natural backdrop to solemnisations. Couples can choose to seal their vows in Jasmine Room, which seats 80 pax, Living Room, which seats 40 pax, or The Glass House, which seats 80 pax.

Legends Ballroom has a long wedding aisle for grand entrances to your celebratory feast, highlighted with the Dream Romance wedding theme’s elegant floral arches in gold and jewel tones during the Hotel Fort Canning wedding show that day. With state-of-the-art equipment to captivate your guests, Legends Ballroom comprises three ballrooms that can be configured to suit your banquet. Lavender Ballroom offers verdant views of the surrounding Fort Canning Park, and is a lovely choice for smaller celebrations of up to 230 guests. Accented in the sparkling True Love wedding theme with its twinkling fairy lights, trailing floral vines, and romantic ‘Love’ signage, the ballroom creates a beautiful setting for your wedding celebration. Perfect for brides who long for romance, the Happily Ever After wedding theme features lush florals in a pretty palette of pinks against ethereal fairy lights.

After personal tours with the hotel’s wedding specialists, the couples were given a taste of the hotel’s delectable culinary offerings, with savoury bites featuring salmon and smoked duck, and a delightful array of dainty desserts.
