Hi tulipkiss

22/3 clash Rooster, cannot use. ROM or Customary also can clash both of you or parents

22/6 doesn't clash anyone, but have to wait for tong shu to be out in Sep to check for general good dates

FYI by right 2016 Monkey yr clash Tiger and 2017 Rooster yr clash Rabbit, so by right both yrs cannot ROM or hold customary

opps sorry I switched the dates for bride and groom. It should be:


BRIDE: September 26, 1982 (Dog)
GROOM: August 15, 1976 (Dragon)

Grooms mom: 1952 (Dragon)
Grooms Dad: 1943 (Sheep/Goat)

Brides Mom: 1953 (Snake)
Brides Dad: 1939 (Rabbit)

We are looking at November 22, 2015,
December 20, 2015 and
December 27, 2015 as possible wedding dates.

We like the December 20, 2015 date the most though. Would this be a good date for a wedding ?

So, in 2016 all Tigers cannot get married and 2017 all rabbits cannot get married?
What will happen if they do, and any ways to "counter"?

Hi Master Tong,

Since you've replied that 1st July 2016 clash with Tiger hence, it is not a good date for our Morning gate crash, ROM&Wedding Banquet. Appreciate if you could recommend us a few auspicious dates for us, pls? Thank you.

Bride: Year 1989, Snake

Groom's father: Year 1950, Tiger
Groom's mother: Year 1957, Monkey

Bride's father: Year 1948, Rat

Appreciate your advise soon.. May I check how much is the fee you charge for detailed wedding consultation(e.g. guo da li, auspicious time to pick bride, an-chuang)?

If we are planning to have our wedding next year March or April, is the only way to know good dates now through ba zi because tong shu is not out yet? Does ba zi method give us other information besides good dates?

We are planning to get married in December 2016, but have yet to choose a date. May I know is it better to use Bazi or Tong Shu to calculate?

We are looking at the weekends of dec'16, may I know which dates are more auspicious?

Yes correct. It represent a bad start to the marriage.

If no choice, the work ard will be to ROM in 2015 first so that your are officially married in 2015. Then the banquet in 2016/17.

Bazi overrides the tong shu. Tong shu dates are generic dates only and only take the animal sign into consideration, which is too generic. Bazi dates factor in entire birth data (birthday and time of birth), hence more precise.

Bazi dates are more accurate and precise. Tong shu uses only animal sign, very generic only. A good date in the tong shu can still be inauspicious if the date and bazi are not compatible.

I dont know which date in Dec 2016 will be auspicious yet as the tong shu will only be out in Sep. Right now the only way is using Bazi to calculate as Bazi dates override the Tong Shu

You mentioned that the attendee gets all the bad luck if attending another red event within 100 days.

A friend who agreed to be my jiemei told me she decided to ROM less than 100 days after my wedding, and said she is not superstitious. Will I be affected if she still remains as jiemei in this case if I am not attending her ROM after that?

2015 clash to Ox, 2016 clash Tiger, 2017 clash Rabbit.

Hence for rabbit, only 2017 is bad yr for wedding

2015 will be a better yr for rabbit as goat and rabbit are compatible signs, but booking hotel may be bit last min and not easy to find now.

Isit better to see the dates from tong shu/alamanc or using bazi to select? Cos the only worry for me is to book the hotel which I need a date to do so.

My friend had a Tong shu/alamanc however it was back in yr 2009 when she use it to see the dates for her marriage. Can I use that Tong shu? Is there a difference in terms of the year Tong shu? Thank you.

Hi Master Tong, read that 2016 would be a bad year for Tigers. My fiancé is a Dog while I'm a Tiger, can I check if 2015 or 2017 would be a better year for us to get married, or is there no difference?

tong shu changes every yr. u have to wait for 2016 tong shu to be out in ard sept 2015. U cannot use old tong shu!

Else the only way to select date now is using Bazi. Tong shu is NOT accurate . It only factor animal sign , not entire Bazi (birthday and time of birth). Hence bazi dates is more accurate and override tong shu dates. Tong Shu dates is for mass consumption, very general only.

The person that goes to get all the bad luck. If you go your bad luck, not her. Vice versa. So long as you dont go you are safe. They dont believe want to come, that is their problem.

Hi Master Tong.. the 100 days before and after wedding, cannot attend another wedding, only applies to the couple or to close family members like parents, siblings too?
