Hi ladies.....
I will not be having dinner banquet.
Mine is more like brunch cum dinner.
This is the KIV plan:

10am - groom arrive at bride place
10:30 - noon
(Gatecrash & fetch the bride)

2pm - holy matrimony & ROM

3pm onwards - FOOD!!!!!

Might surprise my hubby with either a vacation or staycation after that.

Yupyup!!! It is, & I will not be having the dinner banquet as my parents are divorced, it's really complicated.....

Thinking about the seating arrangement ain't gonna be fun... So we decided to do away with that.

So It will be a small intimate wedding.

Hi Hututing, Will you be arranging for shoot with your bridesmaids after you leave yur husband's place before you reach the venue?
I am having a similar schedule like yours but am not sure how to incorporate a shoot with my girls. I think for banquet dinner weddings, most of them are able to do a shoot with their wedding entourage. Hope I could too.

I think it will be nice if you can squeeze some time in.. How do you intend to plan it? My AD can only start at 9am and I have to have the solemnization by 1130am and lunch at 1230pm, thus I was wondering how do brides do it all in time for lunch.

The fetch-the-bride timing given by the geomancer to us is 7-9am, 11am-1pm. Does that mean the groom has to enter bride's house between these two timings? Or, does that mean bride has to reach groom's house within these two time slots?

I think it means that the groom have to enter the bride's house anytime between 7-9am. Did your geomancer state the time for ROM? Mine did.

Oh mine didn't.. I thought customary is the only one that geomancer needs to advise? Does the banquet require auspicious timing? hahaha.. Anyway I don't follow strictly.. It's more of pleasing the elders when choosing the date :)

Hehe, that's ok as long s you feel happy on that day :) I have the FTB & ROM timings, that should be good enough since solemnization is the important part right (Signing our single hood away...)?
Doesn't really matter if we eat earlier or slightly later, that would be more of a concern from the venue guys. :p When's your AD?

As long as neither of our parents raise the question on ROM timing, I shall "ignore" haha.. We asked the geomancer about ROM on a separate day from the banquet and customary though, the only thing he mentioned was to choose one of the auspicious dates he gave us, and nothing on the timing.. phew.

btw, AD means? Actual Day?
We have a few reception dates in mind, but have not decide yet since it also depends on the venue availability :) Still at the venue sourcing stage :p

Good that both your parents are not the traditional sort :D Lucky! I think choosing the auspicious dates should be "heng" alrdy! haha

AD = Actual date (You're right!)
Should be the second half of 2016 I am guessing?
