Rom n wedding lunch

My htb wants to hold a wedding lunch at peony jade for 190 guests. But its not my dream wedding. My dream wedding is a small and intimate one in the open air. We had a few fights over it bcos I really want my dream wedding. So I suggested having a rom but at my dream wedding venue. That will set us back another about 6k. Is it weird to have a nice 30 px rom and a few mths later-a wedding lunch?

I think it's quite common to separate ROM and then followed by wedding lunch/dinner a few months later. Some even do it after a year or so.

Yea It's actually normal, some do it together cos they wanna save time

Thats what I told him but he says it feel weird n the wedding lunch would have no meaning.

How about hort park? They have the lawn and you can move into the MPH for food.

Actually I was looking at amara sanctuary . They have this aircon glass house for solemnisation n min 30 pax for lunch at 70++. I actually want a casual wedding n we planned for 120 px initally but it got out of hand n we have to abandon the first plan in which I was pretty upset bcos that was pretty close to what I wanted.

I heard hort park is very hot in the afternoon bcos one of my frd's frd held it there and everyone was sweating non stop. Plus. We actually have a budget. So maybe the 6k for rom will have to be self paid but he I dont know how he will react n feel about it.

You can try hotel fort canning. Their solemnization package is quite attractive. They do outdoor as well... and ur guest can proceed indoor for the refreshments.

I ever attend a outdoor lunch before... It looks nice and dreamy for a garden or beach lunch/dinner but i felt it doesn't really suits at SG?
Bcos is so hot and humid, the guests are all sweating quite badly and they dont feel comfortable at all esp they have to wear formal. Some even got irritated and it does left quite a few negative impression.

Unless the dining area is air-conditioned otherwise you may want to reconsider.

hi, how about an outdoor ROM but indoor seating lunch? maybe you can consider Food for thought at Botanic gardens.. you can do the ROM outside and guests can move in to the cafe for buffet.

i think it will set you back about 6k to 8k?

We have decided! We will hold it at amara sanctuary sentosa. Its a glass pavilion with in door air conditioning area for lunch at 5k and 30 guests.

Congrats! We're holding ours there too! when will yours be? Just a note, if you want to have the whole restaurant to yourself, you might wanna invite more people so they will close it to normal patrons.

Hi alyoop. We are holding on this year dec21st lunch. We would really like to have the whole restaurant but bcos we have another wedding lunch banquet on feb 2015 for 190 guests so we can only invite 30 guests.

i rom in sept 14 and my ad in april 15.
